I love Jamie as Christian, he's perfect for the role. I love his eyes. Jamie's and Dakota's chemistry is amazing. I know it was a trilogy but I am still hoping for another installment, hopefully, with their children and how their love with each other grow.

Wish they had added the visits between Christian and his therapist....explained what changes he needed and wanted to make if he wanted Ana back...made sense that this wasn’t overnight decision

Oh how I so wanted to write the scripts for these movies. I can’t believe in the last movie they did not show her having the baby. They already had a hospital scene when Anna was in the hospital after being hit by Hyde so why not show her having Teddy. That was very emotional for Christian.
I just wish it was a series with many seasons because I can't stop watching these 2 ,their chemistry is amazing

Christian's story was conflicting but it was still a great trilogy. I could watch it over and over. I felt his love for her (even if it did start out as a twisted arrangement).
If you read his POV of LJ’s books. He has a really immature mindset. Yea, traumatic and emotional but his way of thinking was toxic and not worth a good woman like Ana

I tried to read the first book and it sucked.
Terrible writing, boring af.doesnt make sense at all.. ana's character is boring and annoying and shallow and there are many contradictions... cristian doesnt seem like a real character... seems like some fantasy inside a womens head. And the chemistry between them doesnt exist in the books so why would peoplr expect it to be perfect on screen??. I couldnt read it past few chapters. The movies are great though.

I like the museum scene where they both lock eyes and he's literally scanning her to see if she is afraid of him or if she's still "open." And when she doesn't turn around and walk away in the first 6 seconds, he smiles and approaches! lol Classic move in the animal kingdom when the hunter approaches his prey! :) JK...I liked that though. He's cocky, but he's careful.
well according to the book...christian and ana together goes to the exhibition bcuz ana had already told him earlier about the exhibition and they both already had planned to visit it together...so christian calls her and asks her to please keep the plan on

James.If you read the books just put faces in them by Dakota J and Jamie D. Because the books have more stories than movie.But I love all 3(fifty shades)the movies..While at it sound track is great from part 1- 3.Happy watching and reading the movie.

I don't know why he is not cast in similar type of roles after Fifty Shades... He is good looking and perfect for glamorous roles. There is no point in undermining his good looks which happened in all his subsequent films.
JD has said he didn't want to be typecast. He has chosen to do other roles. FS was a one project and its over.

It's a great trilogy...The50 Shades franchise. A real situation, one can comprehend. Good lines, good acting good chemistry..... A trilogy to add to my collection. My flowers project reflected in the initial titles sequence. Ideas are out there.
He is perfect for the roll. It’s men who did not like Jamie Dornan as Christian; it’s just jealousy on their part. Yep, they just have a case of that “green eyed” monster!
Not their fault. The book reflects his journey, his pain, evolution wih flaws. Same for Ana. Whereas in the movie, it is just Ana evolving whereas Christian just "pops" up. His pain and struggles just become "reasons" rather than an active experience affecting both of them. The movie had the potential to stir more, childhood abuse from parents is real, instead of dwelling there and his turmoil,something that he wanted to work out of, they just made it a story of the past. I guess it then would've been a braver move,to show his scars than to just move past them.

I love Jaime as Christian. To me he's perfect.
I personally think there is a giant difference between the first film and the rest of the two ones. The director did such a great job. And actors... god, you can see how Jamie feels comfortable acting Christian. He understands him way better than ever before. And Dakota brings her A game. To sum up, a great team for filming brings either success or failure 😅

Wow seeing this after so long, Jose was violating Ana's rights not to have photos of herself in the public eye. He's kinda a "nice guy" in the worst sense of the phrase.

Each movie was significantly better than the last. I found their chemistry enjoyable by the last movie; whereas it was questionable in the 1st one.

I like the book's version of these scene better. In the book, he offers her a ride to the photography show and they go AS FRIENDS. Here, we already find out that he bought the Anastasia portraits and then he comes slinking up to her....like he was stalking her. It gives a much more negative vibe, before he wants to reconcile with her.

There is a distinct turbulence in the book that resonates with me, an emotional warfare and ease, very real to life than not. The movie took a lot of liberty maybe even losing the core of it. Shame we don't see Christian's character development in the movie, unlike tbe book where both of them are constantly evolving. Wherease Ana's narrative is interchangeably the same,Christian's ia a flatline, not actually dwelling into the very tangible scars and his experience. Appreciate Dakota of her acting chops.
I honestly don't understand why one would buy huge pictures of someone. It seems like buying huge pictures you find inside a picture frame. I am happy Christian bought them as opposed to a creep (I know the irony).
1st in the book that pictures of Ana eventually for José expressing/confessing his longtime love to Ana, to amaze her (but Ana is to dumb to knowing that)...2nd, knowing Christian's character, how freaking possessive he was, how freaking jealous he is..there is no surprise that he willing to buy that..he prefer Ana to have no male friends at all cuz his level of jealousy is another level..

The love story of Anna and Christine really made me to love this movie from the first release to the last one.We are still here in 2022❤😃
