She gets it, yes, but did u watch all of them?? She agreed to it all, but the last movie showed what it was all about. Yes, he felt he owned her, but loved her & she helped him feel that. He built her confidence up. I don't believe they intended to fall in love. Was just gonna be another seduction to him. However, it was different. Some say control & I can understand that. Like I said, she signed a contract lol seriously, tho, but I feel it brought their true emotions, heart & who they really are out. Call me crazy I guess.

I remember watching this movie Fifty Shades Darker on World Television Premier, I didn't knew about this movie before and thought it was a horror one because Ana keeps seeing Leila now and then and she just disappears. Later I came to know that this is a series of 3 parts. And it's "different than what I saw and thought". I couldn't stop laughing. 🤭🤭🤭
There are actually five books in this series. The first three make up the entire original story while the two follow-on books, "Grey" and "Darker" retell the first two parts from Christian's point of view and provide some additional insight both into his personal history and into his way of thinking.

I'm sorry, but he originally characterized his relationship to this older woman as abusive, correct? How is anyone friends and friggin business partners with a person who harmed them either physically or psychologically?
He thought she had saved him. He was a teenager with a lot of behavior problems. He believed he would finish his life just like his biological mother. With Mrs. Robinson he felt calmer, he felt like his life was under control. He stopped fighting, arguing, etc.
He couldn't allow touching. She showed him the way to have sexual life even with that "touching" problem.
He believed he was a bad guy who didn't deserve a good life with his new family. She used him as a submissive punishing him - so she did with him what he thought he deserved. And because of that - he felt these relationships as something natural and right for him.
So, he believed she had rescued him from his destructive way of life.
And only in the third part of this story he finally realized what Mrs.Robinson did to him. Ana managed to convince him he wasn't bad, he deserved happiness. And from that perspective he finally understood - there was nothing "natural and right" in his relationships with Mrs.Robinson.
p.s.: Of course, it's just a mix of the book's info and my thoughts & conclusions. I can be wrong.
@@RamaTany I've never read the books but I've watched clips from the movies. They tell the story without the BDSM stuff, I'm not interested. The way you put it sounds like a woman in an abusive relationship with a man, they think it's what they deserve, so it's believable. Thanks!

you have to watch the whole love story to appreciate it. this was a business contract at first not a relationship. but he was willing to do the work of his issues because he loved her I wanted to be loved by her. and she dealt with her issues so that she could love him and be loved by him. you should never judge a book by its cover unless you know the whole story and even if you do don't judge until you've judged yourself under the same microscope. everything in this world is there to teach us a lesson play mirroring back things we need to learn from. with light love gratitude and appreciation. Kim Basinger was in the Original 9 1/2 weeks. It’s just like this movie. But it was about a real BDSM relationship that lasted 9 1/2 weeks. People should see it. Just as racy.

Ok, the movie and the book does have differences. And all movies and books do, but I just want to list what's different in this movie.
Movie: Ana says she doesn't care about her hair.
Books: She just wants a freaking hair cut.
Another thing:
Movie: Says Christian is who ended his dom/sub relationship with Leila
Books: Christian says he was willing to continje thier arrangement but Leila ended it because she wanted more and her ending things is an act of self-preservation.
Movie: Says Leila's husband died in a car crash
Book: Says she left her husband for another man. That man died in a car crash 4 weeks before she got messed-up in the head started haunting Christian and Ana.
That's the movie vs book in this clip that I just observed.
