I love is her beautiful grandma, "Tippi Hedren who was my ideal classic beauty. Especially with Sean Connery in "Marnie." What a pair they made in that movie.
I've never read Thomas Hardy, but after looking up a synopsis of Tess of the Dubervilles, him knowing that about her explains a lot. She is super into his dom behavior from the start, which he picked up on, then confirmed by sending her the book and guaging her reaction. It's amazing just how thorough he is about ensuring she wants him to act that way, before doing so. Of course, the movie is a fantasy and in real life people don't read minds so well, but since this was originally a story about a mind reading vampire, it makes sense. Instead of reading minds, Christian uses his body language skills combined with coded literature references he knew she would understand in order to act as the perfect man in her eyes. It's not until the very end that he actually let's himself be himself in front of her, which she rejected, sending him into a dark night of the soul of transformation. This movie is so layered.
I remember when this movie came out, everyone was crazy about it so I kind of ''ran away'' from it because it was trending. I didn’t like Jamie as Christian when I first saw him, only because when I read the books, this was not how I imagined him to look, but I have fallen completely under his spell since and can’t stop watching these movies. I hate how the movie doesn’t follow the book’s full dialogue. Christian is definitely much different in the book compared to how they portrayed him in the movie.

The interview scene is my forever fav their first interaction a sense of charm attraction for each other anda start of a story 💛
I'd literally melt if Jaime looked at me like that.
What a exotic and romantic movie. I watched this 5 times. And get better every time.
Sharon Hansen hey please can you send me the link of these movie😢please
Simla Biswas search lookmovie, you Can find Them all there :)
Simla Biswas try downloading box loca on the App Store
Right? I really thought this movie just “ain’t it” but I gave it a try again because I happen to like Jamie Dornan. I tried to look from a different perspective, not just the so-“highlighted”-scenes (re: sex scenes) by people, and the story line is actually good 😔 I’m starting to read the book and it gets better
@@bimbibimbot the book is sooooo much better than the movie...much more detailed. Enjoy !!
I'll be 80 and still be rewatching the hell out of it.
Me too. 79 this year and love all three movies. Such a beautiful love story. I didn’t like Jamie as Christian when I first saw him, only because when I read the books, this was not how I imagined him to look, but I have fallen completely under his spell since and can’t stop watching these movies. They both nailed their characters
I agree, I just watched it for the 1st
Time 2 years ago
I love Dakota, shes extremely charismatic, and has a great personnality, I wish to see her in more type of different movies
It's an amazing beginning.... The perfect couple. I don't imagen 50 Shades of Grey without of Dakota and Jamie...
Why she dressing like that such a granny fashion taste awh
Bc she is in Eng lit major! LOL
she is supposed to be an innocent girl, that gets corrupted
Shit .... I like her style... I see nothing wrong with it

Notice how he grips the table while she’s biting the pencil.. that man is down bad! 😭
He is very orally fixated! What he can do with his mouth is mind-blowing! 😛😵💫🥴💋👅👅
The two actors are so fucking good! This will forever be my favorite film series
I'm still tryna figure out how she fell. And the lady didn't even help her. I know she saw and heard it happen. 😲😲😂😂😂
she was like : lemme ignore this chileee
😅😅😂
And the lady didn't even help her up😂😂
Lady probs pushed her 😭😂😂
@@somebread1006 she did not
I like the subtle line “ready? , whenever you are”
I hate how the movie doesn’t follow the book’s full dialogue. Christian is definitely much different in the book compared to how they portrayed him in the movie.
I agree very annoying
What is he like in the book?
.
Yes, its true.
Natasha D'souza+ Oh, he’s a right bastard.
Dakota is absolutely breath taking. And her awkwardness in the movie makes her that much more appealing

*Fun fact*
Fifty shades of grey is a Twilight fan-fiction.
shut up
lol
@@akshaymohan8780 it actually is XS
But how??? They're totally opposites except of the fact, series ended with most popular song along with flashbacks and female leads became badass post marriage
@@aasthatyagi3001 it is, the writer admitted that she was obsessed with twilight, and then she started to write an erotic book about bella and Edward, but later she started to change the characters and all that, and that's how she created 50 shades of grey.
That's why there are so many similarities. Same location, at one point there's a meadow, a walk in the woods that looks a lot like twilight
