Some tips because I just installed one myself. Good idea to clean bumper with alcohol first. If you peel back the gasket on the bumper, you'll see 2 arrow marks that you can line up with the 2 marks on the cover for perfect alignment.

Thanks for this. I found instructions on how to do this from a Subaru website and it's 18 pages long!!! There are so many steps involved. Your way is much better. Just clean it, center it, take the damn strips off and put it on. That's what I just did and it worked fine. 18 pages to stick a plastic piece on a bumper. Geez!
