- Sorry for not posting a video in a while. I fell off a cliff and hit rock bottom, and been climbing up ever since. My earliest betas date back to the beginning of April for this. I realize this isn't the anime or avatar people expected, but in my opinion, it's something far better then anime will be able to compare.
Snow Falling on Cedars is a movie adapted from a book setting itself in the pre and post World War 2 era. The main focus in this video is the relationship between the two main characters in the movie. I created a story through this with my own little twist. My first attempt at something more abstract. Hopefully you can understand it ~

I remember reading the book and watched the movie of Snow Falling on Cedars, in my first year of college.
It's been ten years that I've remembered it.
I’ve loved this edit so much since I discovered it years ago. I think this movie embraces the unwanted outcome of love. Unrequited. It’s beautiful in its own way. This edit is perfect 👌
This film impressed me in 1999 verry much. Somehow, the Storry and the sadness of this love which did'nt come together, touched me deep in my soul.
The film excerpts suits well to this music and the mood. Well done.

Watched the movie on Neflix. Loved it! The young Ishmael was played brilliantly by Reeve Carney. Now The actor has all grown up. He is currently the Spider-Man/Peter Parker one the Broadway musical spider-Man Turn off the Dark.
in my alternate universe, her husband eventually dies and she eventually gets back with Ishmael. lol

I don't know the movie, and I'm not completely sure if i'm getting the storyline, but it looks really dramatic with a few point of light which contain love and that is really beautiful

Ishmael's love for Hatsue was real love. It's a shame that they couldn't end up being together forever because of racism tearing them apart during that time period.
