You do not. If you want to keep the ac and other factory options then you’ll need to keep the jeep pcm. But as far as gauges you can use oil sensor, water temp, battery, rpm and speed sensor straight to the Holley
@@mutt457 Ohhh ok I gotcha. Definitely a nice build tho bro. Got the stock 4.0 in mine and the lack of power is driving me insane so I just got an old work truck and in the process of rebuilding the 6.0 and nv4500 to swap over.
I’m looking at doing this same swap. If you use the Holley gauges do you need the Jeep PCM?

Look awesome! I’m going to LS swap my 2000 jeep xj as well.
You’re gonna love it! What motor are you going with? Check out my other videos of the xj Ls swap
I hope you can help me with the headers you have set, friend, thanks
These are the hooker headers. Not sure if they make them anymore
About to do this swap myself. How did the 4.10s hold up? Trying to work out the best gearing to use so I'm not going back and forth on stuff lol
The axles in the video are the stock LJ axles with 4.56’s. I’m in the process of the JT Rubi axle swap so can’t comment on the 4.10’s as of now.

@@stewiegriffin88nice! Appreciate it. I’ll get some more vids soon. Just been busy. Rear axle swap is complete. Just need to get the front done.
@mutt457 Sounds awesome. Can't wait til it comes out, just subbed so I don't miss it!
