For the uprooted - Martin Hermann

It is said that we need roots to grow.
But what if we feel uprooted?
When we are longing to put roots down again.
To be grounded.
Can it be that it is our longing, our wishing that obscures the obvious?
Hopes, longing, dreams as inevitable mental veiling of the immediate.
The fabric of human identity.
And beyond that?
The possibility of conception.
To conceive life beyond our imagination.
And then to experience:
Life itself takes hold of me...and carries me.
And it is beyond of the imagination I have of myself.
