- Hi guys! These no-knead baguettes have a deep, yeasty aroma, a crackling-crisp top, and a soft, open crumb. They are easy to make. The list of ingredients and the link to the baguette pan that I used are listed below: #baguettes #baking #noknead #French #bread
Baguette Pan: amzn.to/3bSwBGS
Ingredients for 4 baguettes (12-14 inches in length)
500g (3 1/2 cups) bread flour or all-purpose flour
10g (1 3/4 teaspoons) salt
350g (1 1/2 cups) lukewarm water
7g (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry or instant yeast Хобби
Besides being a talented cook, you also master the art of showing how cooking is simple and pleasant. 👏 I could never, ever imagine how bake a baguette is possible for those without bread-making experience. I'm encouraged, I'll make it! Thank you ♥
Emotional support butter hahahahahahah sliding down the wall laughing!
Hi Kevin. You're killing me!! My all time favorite is a warm, crispy crust baguette with mussels marina. Dredge the torn bread through that fabulous garlicy broth! With a glass of Cabernet Sav, it doesn't get any better than that!
Thank you -- now I yearn for mussels in a garlicky broth!
I too am yearning!!
Kevin I purchased the baguette pan and I love it. Your recipe is so easy to follow and I have made the baguettes numerous times always with great success. I look forward to your videos and I want to thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Glad you enjoy the pan -- and the baguettes!
OMG! Emotional support butter! That is a good one. So enjoy your videos. As a carb freak, these baguettes are the ultimate indulgence. ❤️
Doesn’t matter whether the video is two months old or five years old. Having discovered your videos, I enjoy every one, and this one especially now in the fall.
Oh My Goodness! 🤩That bread looks so good! You are amazing to watch and a wonderful teacher. 🤩Thank you so much! Enjoy your bread! ☺❤🥖

I make baguette's quite often and your prep and roll is awesome. Cheers
For years I have wanted to bake bread but have been too intimidated. YOU just made me feel that I can do it!! Thank you so much Kevin!!!!
Amazing, Kevin! Finally a recipe that makes baguettes look easy! I'll be making these and using them for my very high end recipe for French Bread Pizzas 😂 Can't wait!
Thank you so much for this recipe! I have finally been able to bake nice baguettes after years of disaster 😅 they were delicious and dare I say better than from many bakeries in France.
I'll bake these baguettes for my French dinner menu, on New Year's. THAN YOU AND ALL THE BEST TO YOU ALWAYS. HAPPY AND HEALTHY 2023!
Hooray! Baguettes! You make me so happy, Kevin. Thanks for another mouthwatering recipe!🙏
Thank you for sharing this recipe!! I’m on my second batch of making these baguettes!! They are delicious!!! My brother is a bread connoisseur, and he was impressed! So much so, he’s “commissioned” me to make him some loaves! Thanks again! Continued success with your channel ❤
Hi Jeanette - So glad you like these baguettes!
Waaaaaaw Kevin, God bless you! Me and my daughter are enjoying your recipe right now! Beautiful, thank you so much❤😊

I'm making this recipe as I write this. I'm on the 3rd rest and all is going well thus far! I'll update after baking!
These baguettes were marvelous! Thanks for the recipe and the video!
I'm hooked! going to try this. Love all of your videos. You make it seem so easy!
YUMMY!!!! Definitely will be trying this method . Kerrygold IS emotional support for sure ! We slathered it on Irish brown bread that we baked to go with your Irish Stew recipe that we loved.
Kerrygold is truly the top notch butter !
I love cooking but you have make me crazy 🤪 in love with cooking, it looks so simple to make 😋
Goodness! No wonder I've never been able to make really nice baguettes! Most directions are awful! You've got me stoked now - I'll get that baguette pan and give this a try! Thank you SO much!
So much for low carbs! The first bread recipe of yours I did was the Ciabatta bread. I can't stop eating it. Now I find this baguette recipe and I am in for it. Just like you, can't wait for it to cool, just CUT IT AND BUTTER IT HOT OUT OF THE OVEN!
Glad you enjoyed the Ciabatta!
Try using the water used to boil some potatoes..... You can also add some mashed potato....
You are an amazing teacher ! Thank you for including all measurements because sometimes, I can be a little " clueless " , when it comes to kilograms 🤪 lol.
Fabulous!
Making these tomorrow! I've never had luck with French bread, but I am sure these will change that luck.
I love your recipes Kevin, please keep them coming. I’m going to try making these soon.
Appreciated! Thanks ❤️🤗❤️
Making this today! Thank you!
I'll be making these this week. Thanks so much, Kevin.
Love your cutting board. I have the exact same one! It is amazing. I also have the hanging version. I use it for cutting meat. Probably not the greatest thing. My sharp knifes have left knife marks all over the board. Even though Amazon said it was marble... I really highly doubt it. 😕 I will be looking into the baguette baker. I make baguettes when I make French onion soup 🍲!!! 😋
I am going to our local Niagara Region Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 countertops marble services. I am going to see if I can get afew of their odd cut remnants in obviously a square shape. Hoping for under a $200 per board. 🙏
I just love your recipes so so much 🥰🥰
The bread of life!
You make it seem so seamlessly easy! My stars, I must try to make these baguettes!
I’m inspired! Going to try my own baguettes. Thanks for a great video. You do make it all seem simple.
Glad you enjoy Irish butter! Excellent demonstration .... many thanks.
Kevin, I see another visit to Amazon in my near future. I've gotten a lot of great gadgets there on your recommendation --I hope they're giving you a commission! Another great video!
The baguette pan was a game-changer for me. So glad you enjoyed the video!
@@kevinleejacobs1364 I noticed they also had a two-baguette pan in addition to the four. Have you tried your recipe by half? I know that sometimes that doesn't work, but a two banquet batch would work better for my family.
Excellent instructions…thank Kevin..I love your channel
I am going to try this , I want to make a crusty bread and your bread recipe are the best!
Fabulous! Great instructional
video with your charming elegant delivery
Thanks
Hi Kevin always tried making them but never came out good will be making your recipe thank you so much you made me want to try again
When my doctor advises me to eat less saturated fats, I will tell him that I need my 'emotional support butter,' and watch his reaction. Great video.
Kevin, this is a superb video. I started making bread from scratch last year, so I am over my fear of working with yeast! LOL. I will definitely give your recipe a try once I receive the baguette pan from Amazon. Thanks for all your hard work.
The baguette pan is terrific. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Some recipes suggest adding ice cubes for producing steam effect... kindly guide what's better adding boiling water or ice cubes for a crispier crust?
Looks perfect, I ordered the pan and will try this, my basil is ready to make pesto!
Hope you enjoy the pan -- I use mine regularly now!
@@kevinleejacobs1364 I have not had a bad recipe yet from you, the zucchini fritters and the cream scones are my two favorite recipes Thank you.
👍
I got my pan today so I am baking bread today I hope mine turns out as nice as yours, fingers crossed!
Yay MaryLou - I hope the bread is delicious for you!
Reminds me of France. This looks so easy and the banquettes look beautiful. Which flour works better the bread flour or all purpose?
Hi Sherilyn - Bread flour will produce the best rise and the chewiest texture. Enjoy!
Hello, can I use fresh yeast? I feel like fresh will be less harmful to eat frequently 😊, advise me pls, if I’m wrong, thanks
Looks delicious ! How long does this bread keep? Still good the 2nd or 3rd day?
Hi Janet - These baguettes will remain fresh at room temperature for at least 2 days if stored in a paper sack (or a bread box). If the crust softens, pop the bread into a 350F oven for 5-10 minutes. For longer storage, wrap tightly in cling film and freeze. Enjoy!
They look great how do you keep them fresh?

I'll be trying this tomorrow. What's your take on adding a little sugar and vegetable oil to the dough?
Hi Danish Dude - Traditional baguettes are made with only flour, water, yeast, and salt. You can certainly add sugar for taste and veg oil for moisture if you wish!
Kevin what do you think of dough conditioner?
I have never used dough conditioner of any kind, but am willing to give it a try!
Hello Kevin and thanks for this video. I ordered my pans and have them so I'm making my first batch of baguettes. My question to you is, if the weighing task actually critical to this recipe? I get that the purpose must be to get them all equal in size but I'm not particularly interested in that aspect. If one is a little larger than another I'm okay with that. I hope that's correct because I'm in my 2nd rise now and when that's finished I'll be dividing up the dough into sections!
Hi JL - It's definitely okay to divide the dough by "eye" rather than weight. I hope the baguettes turn out deliciously for you!
@@kevinleejacobs1364 I'm happy to report they turned out great, although they're more like sub rolls than baguettes. I don't have a water spritzer and I forgot to add slice marks in them but they turn out delicious and we used them with fro, em Italian beef I brought back from Chicago. We have enough for leftovers, too. Thanks so much!
lol, emotional support butter hahaha @12:10
We need a couer de creme recipe because you're a full-fat kinda guy! With a coulis sauce! And panna cotta! And trifle! And....!
I love Baguettes. I am going to get this pan and try it! Thank you for sharing.👍
DROOLING over here.
I'm so glad!
