    i actually just installed these before finding your video, i had a bad negative connection that was starting cause issues. cleaned everything, dressed up the cable ends with a wire brush and cleaned the grounds. fixed the issues i knew about and plus the parking brake light started working again as a bonus.

    Those look sweet. And I am impressed with the Spyderco knife. Not to many people seem to carry them. It’s all I have carried for last 15 years.

      They are sweet terminals!
      Thanks man!🤙 Spyderco is my go to knife anymore. I prefer the spidy hole over a thumb stud, the steel is great, and the designs are very ergonomic.

    Thank you for this video. I am having grounding problems with my current terminal setup, and these may solve my problem. Can't wait to get them.

    Long time no see man. Hadn't seen anything new from you in awhile. Got to see the coverlay and this new content tonight. Glad to see you are still among the living. In PA as well but probably in a safer place than your area. Not sure how your OBS radiator support is but that is my next project. She's pretty well rotted. Would love to see a video on that. Not sure I want to tackle that myself.

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters  3 года назад +2

      Hey Jerry! Good to hear from ya!🤙 I sure am. I think it's pretty safe if you don't have riots. I actually replaced my radiator support already. It's a larger project but not terribly difficult. Buy a good sawzall and label all of your bolts so you know where everything goes. Buy all the necessary parts up front too. You won't be able to save the support or the bushings. I always bought a whole new headlight bracket, lights, grille, and the other miscellaneous parts but that's not necessary. If you have any questions, just hit me up here!🤙

    Nice, easy to understand video, thank you for focusing on the task and not including music. I have one question... had you considered using Tinned Ferules over the raw wire and possibly floating some solder in there? Ferules get crushed but they contain the wires and protect them from breaking with the pressure of the allen head locking screw. I'm gonna do this on my 69 Camaro, might also step up the wire to the starter to 2/0 from the normal 4/0 since I've just installed a much more powerful alternator, Vintage Air, and dual 12" eFans. Tell me what you think.

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters  3 года назад +1

      Thanks man!🤙
      I actually haven’t considered that idea but I like it. Wires do get crushed and break. So the ferrules with a little solder would definitely prevent that.
      That sounds like it will be fine. Not sure if you need a large gauge wire for the starter though. A more powerful starter may require a larger wire.

      Jbee Thanks man! 🤙 One of my first videos was how to install that light. The switch was originally in the cab until I moved it to the engine bay. The light is a KC Cyclone light I bought from Amazon.

    Ever consider putting on a set of headers? I think that would be a pretty interesting video

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters  3 года назад

      I have and I really wanted to put a set on when I had the engine out. My only issue is I hear of exhaust leaks from people all the time. It just sounds like aftermarket headers are prone to leaking. I may have to research to find one that’s full proof, but the OE cast iron seem to never leak.

    • @juanmercado7978
      @juanmercado7978 3 года назад +1

      I’ve heard the same, but I’ve also heard about others having luck using remflex gaskets with aftermarket headers. I’m still considering doing it myself.

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters  3 года назад

      @@juanmercado7978 I’ve never heard of that brand of gasket. I’ll do some more research because I still would really like aftermarket headers.

    • @Giantass1
      @Giantass1 2 года назад

      In case anyone ever reads this regarding headers on a OBS ford atleast, I used aftermarket shorty headers and the gasket kept blowing, I found that copper gaskets work wonders. Maybe expensive but for peace of mind its well worth it. Also love the channel, has taught me alot repair wise for my 94 Bronco.

    • @juanmercado7978
      @juanmercado7978 2 года назад

      @@Giantass1 Since this post I’ve been running long tube headers without issues, definitely wouldn’t recommend using the gaskets that come with the headers. Like you said paying a little more for peace of mind is well worth it!

    Would these work on my obs ford 7.3 with 2 batteries

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters  3 года назад

      I don't see why not. They seem pretty universal. As long as you have all of your cables to these two batteries, they should work.

      Nice move. My connections were so bad with 5 different wires to fit onto this puppy. Ig wires fit right in after removing the copper lugs. That small opening for wires was really difficult to find the 3 millimeter set screw.
