I did box missions a couple days ago. I took every Covalex mission that was available to maximize travel efficiency. Everything was going great until the server FPS dropped to 4 or 5 and that's when things went bonkers. I couldn't drop off a package, packages would get stuck in my hands, any package I picked up when a box was stuck in my hand became glitched. I am convinced the issue is de-sync due to low fps. If you can find a low pop server, you'll have decent success as long as it stays a low pop server.

The box missions used to be my go-to chill gameplay...and then the bugs came. The all or nothing design coupled with the odd assortment of bugs have taught me to never do these missions. I am really looking forward to the new cargo and hauling mission redesign🤞
Yeah these used to be the best option for new players. Now it's just bad.
That being said, I once did them duo with a friend (sitting in voicechat) and seeing him get just COMPLETELY FOLDED in every direction while putting the package into the vending machine was one of the funniest moments I've had in any game so far xD
I agree @spacetomato, box delivery missions should be smoother and less janky so that new players can get a feel for the game with a chill/low risk loop! SM can’t come soon enough 🙏
And I dont get why they are sooo lowly payed. They are mostly the longest missions but have usually the lowest payment. Combined with the factor that you often dont get any payment - bugs - new players usually lose more money doing them than earn.
I like to use box delivery missions for exploring random installations that I wouldn't have gone to normally. The bases are the same but the sceneries around them can be nice looking.

That box not going in really gives me Man-Ray and Patrick vibes every damn time.

hopefully cargo is eventually ship sized, not mail man delivery types. current hauling should be classed as a high risk mail delivery mission, not cargo lol.

I couldn't complete any of these today either
I did hours of box missions and I learned that I can make 10 times the amount of money with very few bugs doing anything else lol. Box missions are not just bugged. They are Broken.
