I've been watching from launch, I purchased a starter ship back in the day, but unfortunately certain heath issues; being spinal fusion and out of the box tumors in my neck and brain. This game makes me want to escape. But my computer doesn't work for playing. Usually, ever night I watch YT of everyone enjoying the game and it gives me joy. Thanks for sharing your adventures, I hope to soon join everyone in star citizen.

Mustang alpha is a bad ship for new players. Trust me I started a few months ago with mustang. It has a lot of bugs and glitches and its flight control is not beginner friendly. If I didn't upgrade to a cutter I would have had quitted a long time ago. Edit: If I had known before that instead of upgrading I could had melted my mustang and just settled with the aurora. Now I have an lti andromeda sitting at my hangar. 😂 This game is good at opening people's wallet.

I had an account since 2013 but just started playing it. The lack of content and the amount of bugs it has after a decade of work is staggering. The stairs of the Aurora still not functioning on a beginner ship is crazy laziness.

Contests for a "Loader Certificate" (75% of players), "Load Chief License" (20% of players), or "Load Maste License" (5% of players)? ;-) I plan to park mine in my C2, between the elevator and ladder, but I just realized I may need to leave a path from there to the ramp or more likely place it there between cargo runs (little to no cargo)? One thing I'm glad of, we don't need to worry about is balance (overload port/starboard thrusters)... yet?

I pretty much always play alone and just this weekend started tying the new cargo missions. After using the ATLS, I can totally see it being used in conjunction with another player using a tractor beam. I know it may be case specific; but the ATLS (unlike the handhelds) does not seem to have the ability to 'finesse' a container into a location. I found myself using the ATLS to pull the containers off the elevator and staging them by the ramp of my MSR, and then using the TB to load the cargo onto the ship (and reversing the process when offloading). These attributes may change as development continues; but I hope these differences do not get engineered out of the equation. It makes sense that the big machinery is needed for 'muscle' and the detail work is still done 'by hand'. It's also a way to make cargo hauling something of a group effort (even if it CAN still be done by one person).

Note: This gameplay was recorded before the official launch of the vehicle. Some of my wondering and questions have been answered since then. But it was a nice session, thought you might be interested.

I think this is the reason they are slowing down combat. Otherwise engineers wouldn't have time to work.

I don't know about the Pulse, but all of the other bikes have gimbled guns that allow you quite a good range of motion to shoot. They don't have that much of an issue shooting down. In 3.23 you tap G to get gimbles instead of hold now. Guns getting knocked off are also a blessing in disguise because it prevents your death.

Ye this needs work. It needs to be deep but fun... Ugh. Something I'd like to see on the engineers panel is the positions of the crew, in real time. Would make response times better.. and pocket to interface made simpler for in combat fuses and replacements.

Love that you guys are testing this but, I really think you need to crawl before you walk and run. Let the Gladius’ hit you for a bit, then call them off! It’ll give you chance to get to know how to actually fix the ship in real time. Then call the Gladius’ back in. Then next time have them put more pressure on. Then lastly, pedal to floor.

What im seeing is, engineers wont be able to work fast enough if being attacked. The time that it takes to go into your bag or pockets is hrs to mins lmao

Imagine trying to not get phased through the floor or slammed to the ground doing this, all while the server fps is 3 and nothing actually gets done.

With all the new stuff they're adding it's becoming to overwhelming for a old guy like me. I just want to fly around in cool ships, explore and camp here and there, not be griefed by every multiplayer/PVPer constantly. And joining a org is not the answer, I'm in a big one & it's still very hard to find a group.
