Look guys, I am 6'2 and 260 lbs of twisted steel and Southern sex appeal. I've lost more than my fair share of friends and family to everything from cancer to car wrecks, from overdoses to suicide. But EVERYTIME I hear this song I break down and cry! It's such a soulful song and it hits me right in the feels. Thanks for review and keep up the good work!

Vince Gill: in the 70's, Pure Prairie League; in the 80's through the 20teens, hugely successful country career (married to Amy Grant); Mid-20teens, chosen to join Eagles as a guitarist and singer of Glenn Frey's parts. Known in the business as one of the best guitarists around, both acoustic and electric, invited more than once to play on Eric Clapton's Guitar Festival. Listen to more of his work.

Keith and Ricky, who's from the next county over, would play bluegrass music together when they were first starting out.

Allison Krauss has won 27 Grammies and the other harmony, Ricky Skaggs also has won multiple Grammies as well (not sure of number), both in Bluegrass/Country genres. Think Krauss not too long ago was 3rd in number of Grammies ever awarded. And she does some covers of some interesting tunes, like BABY, NOW THAT I'VE FOUND YOU, a 60s song by the Foundations. Different take and worth a listen.

Actually love that cover of the Foundations. Think it's great...and I came of age in the 60s. ✌

Patty Loveless is from Elkhorn City, Kentucky, but she tells everyone Pikeville Ky. I would never be ashamed to say where I'm from!!!!

You should see the actual video version released if this song. It features a military guy going off to war, never to return. 😭🙏
