      @@Chiefmonks lol ur right. But from 10:50 onwards when the camera swings back from the horn section it looks like Sput. Because of the long dreads and sunglasses. Or did I misread the picture entirely??

      @Arnold Hauer I think they think about switching when Bill was ending the song, before they went into the reprise and then when the sax solo comes in, there sounds like a break in straight drums and percussionist is keeping the beat going for the switch

      @@JarKaze got it- I watched it a couple times and knew it wasn’t JT- no hat :) but had seen some clip of Harland sitting in at GUP and couldn’t get a good enough visual to ID Larnell. Anyway- how about Sput just throwing up his hands and letting Marcelo drive the thing for a few bars. 😉

      @@Mark-tm8fi except that if you're a player in the band, getting into the groove, diggin the vibe, bobbing to the music, and then you look over and see his blank disinterested face, it's a downer. Like cold water on how a player is feeling.

      Being with Kirk Franklin Band Bobby has seen all the funk he can, but it does bring the vibe down, or maybe he’s not feeling the tune

      @John B yeah I get that, they are still bobbing and into it regardless, it's just different to see his response to grooves that are so infectious.

    I love Snarky Puppy, and it's not them alone but a tune is a tune and a song is a song. There are different words for different things. This is not a song.

    • @creativical
      @creativical 2 года назад +1

      How would you define a tune versus a song?

    • @MrDavelongly
      @MrDavelongly 2 года назад +1

      @@creativical a song is sung to a tune. A song can be sung to different tunes. The word derives from the verb "to sing" and whilst we can use words metaphorically and sing one song to the tune of another we should not use one word to the meaning of another.
