I’m in a golf tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona and I just broke 80 for the first time in my life. Shot at 79 and I’m chilling back at home eating pizza and watching the best golf RUclipsrs.
Believe it or not, because of how bad this course is, it makes me really want to get back out and play. Mostly because it reminds me of the awful Candler Park course in Atlanta I played while in college in the 90s. It was

Cactus Heights Golf Course (9-hole)
Located on North Highway 138
Big Springs, NE.
It’s basically a golf course in a random field, but it’s free. You can loose your ball In “fairway”, and the greens are sand. Have fun😂
I forgot to mention the tee boxes. They’re cheap Astro turf, so it’s like teeing up on a doormat.

The golf course in Big Springs, NE, Cactus Heights. The name has a reason. Cactus in the “fairway” and sand greens. What can go wrong.
Yall should check out river oaks in paso robles. Its a 6 hole course (but they have 3 teeboxes per hole so you can play 18 if you play it 3 times) Would be a fun trip with some great courses nearby but river oaks was pretty rough
No doubt the course designer thought he was finished but only had 8 holes. The 2nd is taking full advantage of random space after saying oh shit 500 times.

Looks like the local course in my city (Formosa, Argentina), where it barely rains during the year and we have a very hot weather, too. It's so hard to play here, bacause fairways are too hard and ball bounces like crazy. Very very challenging to get a decent score.
Nothing like Oak Country.

If you guys are ever in central Va check out farmville municipal golf course lol it was terrible last time I played, which was the first time. I could go back and revisit see if it’s worth the venture haha

We were in the area to see @GoodGoodGolf on 6/3/23 this course had a tee time available. So we decided to play. Instant regret as we got to the first tee box. Learned our lesson on checking reviews before we book a tee time! Also. Sod never came. 😂

Theres a course in Nickerson Kansas literally built on some cow pastures. Paradise Pastures. Idk if theyre still open, been 15 plus years since i played there.
There's a course north of Buhler Kansas that has sand for greens. It was maybe $5 back in the day.

I have played on a golf course in southern Va. that has an abandoned school bus as a "landscape feature". It is popular because they don't require the golfers wear shirts.

There’s one tournament I went to in Oklahoma and they had gopher holes everywhere. That’s probably the worst course. I’d have to find the name of it. Y’all should come to Oklahoma there’s some bad ones down here 😂

Gardner has a course about 20 minutes from here. Telephone poles in the middle of fairways. And the cart path is so rough you'll need a chiropractor visit after the round.

You should try out Lake Waco in Waco TX. Hasnt rained in a while so its getting rough. Longest drives ever bc of the roll out

I've played this course a couple times and can unsure you even though its pretty bad, its not the worst i've played in kansas, it gets worst... 🤣🤣
My go to course if I can't get a tee time on a preferred course is similar to this. Course looks nice but fairways always brown, tee boxes always dirt, greens super slow. Went to a real deal course last week and blasted every putt hard.

This has all the classic earmarks of Hank Jones designed course. Looks like the Mexican mini tour style. Even thought I saw a replica of hole 2 of El chapos taint.

I'm actually from Desoto, where this course is... I have played it often. I can't disagree with anything said here however I still don't know how to feel that my home course is being named the baddest. 😂

Belle Acres in Cookeville, Tennessee. It’s right down the road from my house. It’s the worst golf course I’ve ever seen.
Lol funny this is Oak Country, the course I play the most because it’s only about $25

me and my buddies play this course during the school year just because of how bad and funny the course really is. Oak country is our home, and we live to play it.
You guys should do a “what’s the course record” think you can beat it and shoot likes 102 or high 90’s. I’m sure you can think of something.

This course is Pristine compared to Woodburn golf club in Woodburn Oregon. They call it pasture golf and The greens are literally made of sand

I've also been to this course and somehow their videography made it look even better over video than it is in person. However, if you just want to go mess around and laugh at some extremely weird golf architecture this might be the course for you. Especially for like $22 bucks i think. When I saw a video of "worst course in Kansas" this was the first course that came to mind

Kind of feel like they phoned it in on worst course and tried not to leave over metro. Wakeeney Kansas has turf tee boxes and turf greens. Unable to actually land the ball on the green.
Just north of Manhattan is a course with sand greens and rocks in the fairway. Dare not bring good clubs.
The way they talk about the course is how I imagine a nice course would talk about their golf game...
