- Hi guys! This animatic was not planned at all since I was supposed to do into the unknown, but a patron of mine suggested it so here it is! ❤
It took me a week and I was rushing lol I wanted to work on my webtoon asap (I HAVEN'T STARTED YET LOL) because I want to join the short story contest on Webtoon! hope you guys will support it too! ✨

Yeah, Disney’s movies rarely have a male protagonist. The only male protagonists I know from them are Dumbo and Pinoccio, oh, and in parts, Aladdin, maybe they have more (?) I dunno, but those are the only ones I know. I’ve got nothing against it, but it’s kinda boring to almost always get female protagonists, It would be interesting to get some more of male protagonists.

Well Aladdin was not really a prince, Hercules is a Disney Hero than a prince and Simba, hmm idk if he can be a Disney prince.

If we can't accept commoner consorts like Aladdin, we would have to cross out Tiana and Cinderella's names from the princess list.
By the way, we could expand the prince list with Milo from Atlantis the lost empire... but I don't remember him singing, though.
I think it'd be cool if we get a male protagonist who never gets a love interest from Disney. everyone always talks about how the princesses are always about romance (so we got merida and elsa and moana), but what about the princes? every disney movie with a male character as its focus gets a love interest; a male "ace" prince would be awesome
Mulan’s not royalty but counted as a Disney Princess. It’s not just the heritage. I feel like Disney should start a category for Disney Prince, that’s what it’s lacking. We have some that could definitely fall in the category of “Disney princes” , like Hercules, Aladdin, Tarzan... but there’s no official Disney Prince group at the moment.

I actually really like the different animation style for boy!Moana compared to the rest of his environment -- it really helps sell his feeling that he doesn't belong on the island, that he yearns to be somewhere else where he can find his real destiny. Amazing cover, and a mindblowing animatic! =)

It's so so SO GOOD
This is really great, it's nice that you decided on covers rather than pitching the og voices it really adds a nice touch to it. It's also kinda cool how the 2d character pops with the 3d background, especially when he's interacting with 3d objects and it's obvious that you put a lot of work as you tried making his movements as smooth as possible in an animatic there's a ton of frames, you don't just stay on just one frame for too long, but the character is still colored, shaded, and very detailed. I'm a bit late and I know I tend to write paragraphs instead of short ones, but I just wanted to point out the stuff that I noticed and liked and give credit to the artist.
