I have a frustrating experience. Not knowing where to begin or hitting a plateau can feel demoralizing and make it hard to hit the books and study like you know you should…Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships!

I have been on and off your channel and I have to say that I really enjoy the videos when you just talk at your normal speed, even if that speed is too fast. It is very nice to hear that from other languages, especially when a language for the most part has shorter words than most, so you end up speaking a lot less than how the other languages. So this video is great, I would love to see more of these fast speaking videos from you in the future.
On another note, I have a few pen pals from China and I have to say, she speaks way too fast, I can barely (to not even at all) hear the tone change from her voice. If she were to record herself on a one-minute video and someone like you were to add in the translations, I strongly believe the translation would be going by too fast for me to read. LOL. Even Chai Jing's review of Under the Dome, the translation is way too quick for me. She speaks as fast as you do.

What do you recommend that I do on New Year's as a foreigner, if places are mostly closed?
Last year I was in Taipei during the Chinese New Year and I didn’t find a better plan than go hiking with friends. I also found some locals where, we had an interesting discussion together. But basically yep, everything was closed and even to find a place for money exchange was a big quest 😄
