you look about 23. I know Chinese people age well, but you are doing particularly well. You're very beautiful, I didn't bother telling you before but since you may be concerned about your age I figured to let you know. You look great! Really very pretty!
Just found your channel and this is an absolute blessing!! It's so hard to find any educational resources on Taiwanese Mandarin, and this is so helpful! Thank you so much. I'm trying to learn when to know when a word is going to be pronounced differently in Taiwan than in Mainland China. It would be awesome if you could make a video showing how to know when the pronunciation/tone is going to be different. There are ZERO good resources on this subject!!!!
@@MandarinWithMissLin Awesome! Thank you! Also (warning: this is a dumb question), is the language you're teaching in these video Hokkien or Taiwanese Mandarin?
Hey guys, don't skip the advertisements in any videos of Ms. Lin because if you don't skip it you thin support Ms. Lin , and she will continue making better and more better educational videos
Wow, I just found your channel recently, and what a great and clear explanation of contractions! I am Taiwanese American and have never noticed them before until you explained it. Absolutely ❤️ your t-shirt also. ✊ Keep up the excellent work!
I don’t usually comment but I honestly cannot thank you enough for these videos. They’ve been extraordinarily helpful for a new Chinese learner like me who wants to learn more practical, everyday language which are hard to find. Your videos are very easy to understand and I can actually apply what you have taught me in real life! I’ve recommended your channel to my friends who are also learning Chinese and they have found your videos very helpful. Wish you the very best and I look forward to your future videos! 谢谢老师🙏
Thank you so much Miss Lin i found your vlog so helpful! im currently staying here at Taiwan as Foreign Worker and I want to learn their language. Other vlogs looks like an Mandarin for Hongkong and China countries although some of them are the same but the accent and other words are different.
By far one of the best, most useful lessons I have ever seen for Chinese! I have been in many parts of China (never Taiwan, not yet) and I was always perplexed by people's real way of saying words. The people in the South use "s" instead of "sh". In Shanghai, they say "bæ" (the same vowel as in English "cat") to say "bai" 百, in central China, people say "Fulan" instead of "Hunan". However, I always knew that they "slurred" words together just as English speakers do in English ("jeet"? instead of "did you eat?", etc.), what Basque speakers do (ze egiteu'e? instead of zer egiten dute), Spanish speakers ("p'alante" instead of "para adelante" ) or Portuguese ("tá louco" instead of "está louco"). Please have more videos like this. Thank you so much, Miss Lin!!!!! 谢谢!!!
I like this video because of video clips examples, very entertaining, I am a kind of person feel bored watching people teaching talking and talking, I fall asleep😁
I always watch your videos , it is very helpful for us specially some of the taiwanese don't usually use those words in the books, they use colloquial words and how they make the word more shorter. Thank you 老师。

you are so awesome... the way you teach is very clear ( your English and your language)... I am learning a lot. I hope you do also lessons about conversation between caretaker/caregiver and his/ her ward. I just found your channel now while taking care of Amah here in the hospital. Honestly speaking, I have difficulty in speaking/understanding Taiwanese Mandarin... some nurse in this hospital are so impatient to talk to me. Thanks I have found your channel where I can learn. 謝謝老師!我想,台灣華語教材的錄音需要用一般口音和語速重錄一下,不然聽起來慢吞吞的,很不自然,超奇怪!而且,會誤導學習者,讓學華語的我們覺得很困惑!《實用視聽華語》、《當代中文課程》、《時代華語》、《華語文能次測驗關鍵詞彙》等教材的錄音都很不自然。
