    ------------------------------------------------------------
In today's video, I've made a list of classic examples from my own experiences. To prove that how fast the real Mandarin world, I also included some short clips from Taiwanese Mandarin and TV interviews.
Unlike classroom setting, It's true that in daily life Chinese conversations, when I speak with my family or friends, I tend to speak very fast without noticing. We normally connect words together.
This is a speaking practice, so relax your month, your brain, repeat after me and make longer pause you need it. This will really give your Chinese speaking a neutral feel.
As a Mandarin teacher from Taiwan, I'm so excited to show you what is the authentic Chinese Mandarin :) 對 台灣人講話真的很快。。。
Examples are provided with 繁體中文traditional Chinese, 简体中文simplified Chinese, 拼音pinyin and 注音Bopomofo zhuyin.

I don’t usually comment but I honestly cannot thank you enough for these videos. They’ve been extraordinarily helpful for a new Chinese learner like me who wants to learn more practical, everyday language which are hard to find. Your videos are very easy to understand and I can actually apply what you have taught me in real life! I’ve recommended your channel to my friends who are also learning Chinese and they have found your videos very helpful. Wish you the very best and I look forward to your future videos! 谢谢老师🙏

Just found your channel and this is an absolute blessing!! It's so hard to find any educational resources on Taiwanese Mandarin, and this is so helpful! Thank you so much. I'm trying to learn when to know when a word is going to be pronounced differently in Taiwan than in Mainland China. It would be awesome if you could make a video showing how to know when the pronunciation/tone is going to be different. There are ZERO good resources on this subject!!!!

By far one of the best, most useful lessons I have ever seen for Chinese! I have been in many parts of China (never Taiwan, not yet) and I was always perplexed by people's real way of saying words. The people in the South use "s" instead of "sh". In Shanghai, they say "bæ" (the same vowel as in English "cat") to say "bai" 百, in central China, people say "Fulan" instead of "Hunan". However, I always knew that they "slurred" words together just as English speakers do in English ("jeet"? instead of "did you eat?", etc.), what Basque speakers do (ze egiteu'e? instead of zer egiten dute), Spanish speakers ("p'alante" instead of "para adelante" ) or Portuguese ("tá louco" instead of "está louco"). Please have more videos like this. Thank you so much, Miss Lin!!!!! 谢谢!!!

I'm learning mandarin and have been watching cdramas over and over to see if I've improved but sometimes I read the captions and the words being spoken are so different! Now I know why! Not only are they just speaking very quickly but certain words that im listening for are being omitted. I feel better now 😂 I was having such a headache straining to listen better! Thank you! I liked Your video a lot. I haven't found so far any other videos on YT that explain things about Chinese so clearly even though the level is too high for me. You actually remind me about my teacher back in school days who managed to get my English level from 0 to upper intermediate/advanced in just 2 months of studying.
I'm sorry for making a long comment, but do You have any classes for those who just start learning Chinese? I've looked through your channel briefly but wasn't able to see anything like that yet (perhaps "everyday Chinese" series is that though?). Or may be You have any suggestions at least?
    Thank You for the lesson.))

    謝謝老師!我想,台灣華語教材的錄音需要用一般口音和語速重錄一下,不然聽起來慢吞吞的,很不自然,超奇怪!而且,會誤導學習者,讓學華語的我們覺得很困惑!《實用視聽華語》、《當代中文課程》、《時代華語》、《華語文能次測驗關鍵詞彙》等教材的錄音都很不自然。

Good question! Indeed Taiwanese only has this connected speech habit:) But as we’re everywhere, many of them are singers or artists in China, so you can still hear that a lot on Tv dramas or Tv shows

I have a question if you have time. In english, "Look what I made for Fei Fei" my first chinese sentence, " 看看我為什麼做了妃妃... means “why you killed her " but the same words in the correct order mean what I meant, "看看我為妃妃做了什麼" I dont understand how killed is even
in the incorrect sentence. I am so confused how it meant that. help!!

Je comprends. Parce que je n’ai pas le prononcé Z. Je l’ai omit.
