I see they took their time in not responding.....*thanks* pro-line. He mentions in this video that X-Maxx owners shouldn't have to worry with changing gears. 3 years later Maury determined that was a lie.
I ordered the Trenchers from my hobby shop they will be here this week! I loved Trenchers on everything I ran them on. So when you made them for the xmaxx I had to get them.
I use all three of these tires on my 5th scales. I have found the Badland MX43 to be a perfect match for the Redcat Rampage MT. Those tires handle the best and not hard on the drivetrain. The Trenchers look the best on it, giving the monster truck look. I taped the insides of the tires for a little more strength to the tread. The Slingshots I have used in snow and sand, awesome traction in both elements. I put the Badlands and Slingshots on a Losi DBXL-E and the Rampage MT, both tires work awesome on both RC's
I love my trenchers!!!! My x maxx lands like it’s on pillows now and it has massive amounts of traction, only downside is they hit the body when they balloon.
Hi Proline. I just went to my local hobby shop and bought a full set of proline Trencher 2.8 premounted on black F11 wheels for my stampede 4x4 and I get a lot of rain where I live so how can I keep water from getting inside? (Water got in the stock tires and then 2 of them exploded)
as speed04GT stated, i feel like for extreme bashing, all of these tires get amazing grip and are great in every way except for the fact that they destroy bearing carriers left and right, even light bashing in cold weather with these will break the bearing carriers, if you made tires focused solely on lightweight like the stock ones or even the arrma ones i would get those
Subbed. 👍Q Please.. I'm looking at buying some MX43 Badlands. I know you said they shouldn't need Venting which is epic & dirt, water etc.. Won't get into wheels ! My Q is Will dirt /water etc.. Not get into the Vent holes that are in the plastic rim? I know you can seal up holes with tape but then pressure might be problem? Thanks 🙏

When will you be making a lighter xmaxx tire, non belted or belted? I would luv to see the weight cut down on these tires. We all know when adding weight something has to give.

Thank you for this video it was very informative I also would like to know if you have videos of your other tires such as monster truck tires and rock crawling tires if not could you do a video on each of them thank you in advance
Hey Pro-Line, how durable are the trenchers under high power 8s, like 22/50 or similar gearing? I'm looking for replacements for my 8s tires that i put on my X-Maxx as they've gone bald. I don't want these to blow out on me like my original 6s tires did.
Hey Pro - Line I recently bought the X-Maxx Ultimate. I wanted to put on a set of your menace hp street tires and they do not fit because the bottom of the outer hub is bigger and hits the inner rim . Will you be making any thing that fits Thanks
I have the same problem have you just on the xrt ultimate have found a fix for that yet and do you know if it ultimately version specific because ok trying to put the badlands mx43 on my xrt
Thank you for the video. I have two questions first: Do the Xmaxx wheels have 17mm hexes and can they fit other platforms like the Savage XL? Second is, out of the two options, the badlands and trenchers which tyre is the lightest. Thanks!
I thought the trencher when I bought it was belted or more like the badlands. It's my fault, but I am very unhappy with the trencher. I wish I would have bought the badlands
Hi @sensi42000, We have not tested that specific set up, but our x-maxx has a 18t pinion and a 54t spur which is stock. It has the 1600kv traxxas motor with a hobbywing max6 esc. This combination has handled all of our testing and bashing! We hope this answers your question, Thanks for your interest and support!
Right like does it help with a better landing when jumping does it help with stability come on dude elaborate...I just spent $$$ on these and they arriving monday im goin straight to these wheels.... #builtnotboughtxmaxx
It allows the tire to expand and contract and doesn't damage the glue bead when it fully expands. If you run a tire that is not vented with that much power you have wasted your money because it will shred. Also it keeps water and dirt and grime from staying in the tire. Way better than venting the rim. Most serious and knowledgable bashers do this look it up. Good luck

Problem with venting the rims is the water doesn’t come back out.. with these large tires I’ve had the tire explode and water sprays out of the tire through a quarter sized hole😬. But yeah when I raced mugen buggies I always vented the rims.. guess it’s just a different animal used in a different way.
If you try venting the tires you will do it from now on. It let's less stuff get into the tires and foams. I tape the inside holes and vent the tires on all 15 of my rigs. Works like a champ. Look it up
Hello! One question: I bought the Proline Badlands 43 for my X-Maxx 8s. Do I have to drill 4 holes per tire in the rubber (so that the water goes out of the tire again) or not. Thanks for your valued answer!
I'm surprise there still selling these over weight tires. They cause to much damage to suspension of the XMAXX. And now Horizon Hobby owns Proline Racing it's going to get worst!
A few things.. 1. You don't mention having to gear down for the bigger tyres. At almost 1kg per wheel, customers are chewing through diffs and yet you seem to have no urgency in releasing this information and seem happier watching naive customers blow their trucks up. 2. Kindly make an actually good looking wheel, nothing wrong with deep dish M/T replicas and mashers, yet you give us 2 ugly rim options.. 3. Your smaller tyre/wheel combo is heavier and smaller than the Rovan 5TS option 4. Don't vent your tyres.. AT ALL. Block the vents from new and don't think about it again. NEVER had my stock tyres blow out on me, dirt or street on the 46 tooth spur option
Have you guys thought about making a lighter weight tire and wheel combo for the xmaxx?

Should I change my gearing when I put trenches on x maxx?
How could I get the MX43 badlands to fit the Losi DBXL-E
Badlands mx43 👌🏻
can you show a before and after video of venting a tire for ballooning

Will the mouted sling shots fit arma kraton 8s
Hi butch hankey
Unfortunately no, they will not mount to the Kraton wheel, only the Pro-Loc wheel for X-MAXX.😔
Thanks for your interest and support!
Yes they fit! Drill out to 24mm, perfect 👌🏼
I’d buy the trenchers if they come in the same compound as the badlands.

These wheels hold up on any 5th scale. Why not just release a set ready to go on a 5th scale. I use them on my X Maxx and DBXL E
Soldering iron venting master race :D
Has anyone seen the x max 6/6
