So I have this laptop and every time I move my screen back past 90 degrees it turns off. the left side near the charging port comes loose and I have to clip it back together. However based on your video the cable for the screen runs into the right side. Any advice as to what might be happening? My first instinct is the cable but I cannot keep the left side of my laptop shell connected. Also considering a ram upgrade as 8gb isn't enough, any idea on the speed I need. I know its ddr4 as Ive had a look. I can send photos through discord if you have the time to help :D

Most likely hinge mount on the left side is broken and damaged the lcd/lvds cable. You'll need to replace the cable and the screen cover most likely. RAM info should be in the video. If it's not there, I'm not sure.

What did you end up doing? I'm having a similar issue. Screen goes black and I have to adjust the lid, close and reopen, etc.
Also some websites cause my screen to goes black and flash also but it is always tied to adjusting the lid angle.

The screen cable or the screen needs to be replaced most likely.
