    I really like your tutorial as it was so simple to follow . I ended up using four colours white for the bottom , top and strap part and for the puff stitch part I used consecutively yellow, purple, pink and white ( all pastel colours) and it turned out so cute !!

    Thanks for the amazing tutorial 🩷 I ran into one problem, that being that my base needs to be larger to fit my bottle. How would I continue with the pattern for the base?

    • @alicescrochetcorner
      @alicescrochetcorner  Месяц назад +5

      Hi! Thank you for watching the tutorial! 💕
      In the video, the pattern for the last round of the base was:
      Round 3 of the base: 1 dc, 2 dc in every stitch all the way around.
      To add additional rounds to your base, you will need to increase the number of single double crochets (dc) between each pair of two double crochets. Here’s how you can continue:
      Round 4 of the base: 1 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc all the way around (adding an extra 1 dc between each 2 dc).
      Round 5 of the base: 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc all the way around (adding an extra 1 dc between each 2 dc).
      Round 6 of the base: 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc all the way around, and so on.
      Each new round, you’ll add one more 1 dc before the 2 dc.
      Once you are happy with the size of the base, you can continue on the body of the holder by going to 8:38.
      I hope this helps! Happy crocheting! 😊

    Why does mine keep getting tighter and tighter😭

    • @alicescrochetcorner
      @alicescrochetcorner  2 месяца назад +5

      Ooh there could be a couple of reasons for this, one common reason could be that your tension might be tightening as you work, which is common with the puff stitch. I suggest potentially loosening your grip on the yarn while you crochet, and make sure you're not pulling too tightly on each stitch. You could also experiment with using a larger hook size to help alleviate the tightness. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions 🤞💕
