This is a great tutorial and I love a written pattern, so I hope I wrote it well.
Crochet Bottle Holder
Make a Magic Ring
Round 1: Ch3 (counts as a dc) 11dc into the ring, close the ring, sl st into 3rd ch (12 sts)
Round 2: Ch3, dc into same st, 2dc into each st, sl st in 3rd ch (24 sts)
Round 3: Ch3, *2dc into next st, 1 dc into next st; repeat from *, sl st into back loop only (36 sts)
Round 4: Ch4, *sk 1 st, dc into BLO, ch1, repeat from *, sl st into both loops (18 ch1 spaces)
Round 5: Ch4, dc into top of dc from previous round INTO BOTH LOOPS FROM NOW ON, *ch1, dc into top of dc, repeat from *, sl st into 3rd ch (18 ch1 spaces)
Rounds 6-17: repeat round 5 (I made only 12 rounds using worsted weight acrylic yarn and size H hook for a 20 ounce bottle up to the larger Stanley type bottles)
Last round: Ch1, sc into same st, *sc into the ch1 space, sc into next st, repeat from *, sl st into 1st sc (36 scs)
Strap:
Row 1: Ch1, sc into same st, sc into next 2 st, turn (3 sts)
Row 2: Do not chain at the beginning of the strap rows. 3sc into the 3scs from previous row (3scs)
Make the strap as long as you like
Rows 3-?: Repeat row 2
Attach the strap:
Count over to the 16th st on the top round, attach the strap with 3 scs in the next 3 sts going into all 4 loops, ch1, cut the yarn. Weave in ends.

You can use a larger hook size -5mm or make the base larger by working an extra round. I showed you how to stop working on the base with 36 dcs. You can add one extra round by working: 1 dc, 1 dc and into the following st. Work 2 dcs. Repeat around. Work 1 dc into the next 2 sts and 2 dcs into the following st. At the end, you will have 42 dcs. Then you can continue working on the hight same way.

Can I do this with 4 ply yarn?
You can. Check the base on the bottle to make sure it fits and if you need to make adjustments, do it then before moving on to the hight. You can then adjust the size of the hight if needed. I hope this helps🤗❤️❤️

Why does my base always curve into a frigging bowl 😢?
Don’t forget to increase each round for the base only. Don’t worry if it’s still looking like a bowl. Once you put the bottle in, it should straighten out. I hope this helps!! 🤗❤️❤️

What if I want to do two colours? How should I do it?
You can start with a primary color and when you want to switch to a secondary color, don’t cut the primary color. Alternated the two colors at the beginning of the rounds where you added a stitch marker. I hope this helps 😊💕💕

Oh no!! I wonder why? Check to make sure that each round is worked by increasing your stitches. That should help it lay flat. 💕💕

Do you mean if you crochet one to sell to someone else? I’m not sure - it all depends on the yarn you buy and the time it takes you to make one.
