- Heh - this is a fun one. From the FFXIV crossover event, the Howling Eye Extreme is a nod back to our MMO days.
Huge hp pool but very low defence, which makes her a fun boss when you like to see big numbers. Unfortunately, she is trivialized by Armiger Unleashed like most of the game.

I love Noctis' Armiger Mode, it's awesome and overpowered. They really made him different compared to most other FF protagonists.

Different because it's just a chuuni Nomura power fantasy. All of this 13 related nonsense killed the franchise reputation for almost 2 decades. It's embarassing.

@@Rayketsu 15 was originally called "Versus 13" in pre-production, but was rebranded and started development 7 years later. Tetsuya Nomura was replaced by Hajime Tabata at that point as well, probably to start working on Kingdom Hearts 3.
If you play as any of the 3 characters it's also very Op XD
Armiger Unleashed is truly a nightmare for bosses
Literally it just washes any high level bosses thats y I toy around using regular combos
Its sooo broken and i do not even know how to do the combos
@@cecillegend9161 pretty easy just needa get used to the timing when the golden ring appears to press the warp button(for which ever console), also spamming attack then the warp button for the combo won’t work you’ll have to do exactly what the combo chart says

@@cecillegend9161 lol happened to me the first time until I looked it up on RUclips, I made a video showing how it looks when combining the entire combo thread and you can see the golden ring but u don’t have to tho
But to explain every time it appears or once it appears like in one second I press triangle quickly, there should be a tutorial section that should let you practice with it

@@ayoubp7689 No it's because the Finesse grade comes from things like parries and Link-Strikes, which weren't used here.

I honestly forget about armiger mode whenever I play lol. Something about just going through the game without it gives such a nice old school ff feel.
Ya Armiger, and especially Armiger Unleashed is definitely OP.
The original armiger I like just because it's a slight edge as opposed to unleashed . Unleashed has no actual drawbacks save for taking out your companions and that's really it . Original Armiger just gives you more dps and armiger chain . I like the challenge especially considering that this is one of the more easier titles in my opinion . Still love the game . I only really used unleashed on omega .

@JordanMovieMan if someone has to spell this out for you then I'll be the one to do so . We're talking about playing the game without the need for an item which makes you do ungodly amounts of damage while fighting a superboss you wouldn't normally beat at a low level , armiger unleashed does just that . The original armiger is just mainly a dps boost and doesn't have a limit breaker on it .
@@JCRXV Not breaking the game doesn't make it feel like a classic FF game, though. It just turns it from an action game you can easily break to an action game you can't break.

The story is much smaller than the original vision, and you can just FEEL the grandeur of the original story seeping through in certain places. That's why it disappoints a lot of people because you know that, even though this is a good game, it had the potential to be one of the greatest of all time, and it never got there.

Exactly. The devs literally skipped Insomnia. Noctis father's death. It supposed to be the first 5 hours of gameplay.
@@Ahmed-og2jm I believe they are referring more to the way the devs went about the game story itself. There is a movie they released called Kingsglaive, which its events lead up right to the very start of the game where Noct has to push the car. As if that wasn't enough, they also wrote a book, which I believe was recently published too. The game itself is wonderful, take your time and enjoy all it has to offer, but I can understand where they are coming from when saying it is disconnected. One of my favorite FF titles for sure, hope you enjoy!
Idk if I just haven't played recent recent updates but I swear I played a month ago and have never seen this armiger unleashed skill. do you have to unlock it through the skill tree?
You need to equip the special accessory - Founder King's Sigil.
It requires you have all 13 Royal Arms, after which you can return to keycatrich and "speak" to one of the statues among the ruins.
This is the royal edition paid dlc.
How did you do that kind of combo? I just finished the main story but i never get that flashy with arminger

Acquire all royal arms including the optional ones. Go to keykatrich (ruined city near where you do one of the early missions with Cor). Look for a statue of the founder king and talk to it.

What is the best build for armiger unleashed if i am lvl 102 ? i guess rare metal + dark matter/magitec suit v2 + founder but for food ? ( i don't want to farm tuna it's boring) and for the boosts like weapons, mates skills...
You have to farm tuna. It's by far the best.
Weapons are probably vortex weapons plus sword of the father. Mate skills don't matter because you can't use them in AU

@@far_257 I tried and no it doesnt trigger weapons passive but the enhancement of ignis work with AU
@@enzoscifo-fw1vt That's right. Weapon passives do not work in AU, but Ignis' enhancement, and items like Muscle Stimulant, do.

It's a crossover quest. It starts near the Cauthess Rest Area and is called "Adventurer from Another World". Look for an FF14-style FAT chocobo sitting on a female NPC.
What the hell is that max upgrade for armiger? I dont remember having that kind of skill with mine

@@markjojamietan3016 Google "Armiger Unleashed" if you can't find it. It's pretty fun but it breaks the balance of the game (as you can see from this video) as it is ridiculously overpowered.

@@far_257 I see that’s reasonable though since I think it will be so hard or near impossible to defeat garuda level 120 aside from wearing the magiteck armour. Overall it’s cool I will definitely gonna play it back for the post content.

It's only in Windows or royal editions
It's Called "Armiger Unleashed", you got it from Royal Edition of the game
It requires you to get all of the Royal Arms and go back to The Mystic Statue in HammerHead, its near a dungeon

I get some stutters in certain situations but overall it's fairly smooth. This is running off a reasonably old laptop as well. Has a 2070 in it.

Your armiger mode depletes slowly, u can deal 99.999 damage pts and ur attack and power are over a thousand.. Just how come..? Pls someone tells me..

Probably you are using equalizer food to do all of the damage, but do food brakes the 9999 damage gap? Or are you using another item?
almiga unleashed has damage limit brake from the getgo.
He also has rare metal equipt that lowers some stats but boosts attack a ton.

Who is this I've never seen this boss fight before where can you find him and I have over 100 hours of gameplay
Garuda from FF14. Head over to... god I forgot the name of it... This stop near Cauthas I think where theres a Diner and caravan to rest. Near there you should hear someone asking for help in a hangar of sorts and the quest will pop up like it would in FF14. Honestly its a good cross over event! Sorry I don't have accurate details but google should help too.

@@thatkooltrainer3648 You need to have all 13 royal arms and then visit the statue in Keykatrich. A short cut scene will play and then you will get the accessory "founder king's sigil"; when equipped, your armiger changes to what you see in this video.
Please note this is only available in the Royal Edition or Windows Edition.

@@codymarcotte512 equalizer, rare metal, and armiger unleashed are all obtainable items/and a food buff. Without equipping the armiger unleashed, you're restricted to using the much less effective normal version of the armiger. The other two do the following: rare metal is +500 strength, -500 vitality and -90% HP.
Equalizer is a food buff of 350 strength, and +2% damage per level of enemies at a higher level than the character.
No mods needed to do this.

How is it that you are getting so much damage. There aren't many build videos that explain how to do that much damage
It's mostly from the food buff. End of the video shows equipment build, but a lot is the Seasoned Midgardsormr food from camp

i never understood what to do with the game i finished it being lvl 39 and only used the royal arms but my health would just drop and the only ring i had was the oracle one from luna never understood how to get like that but i see everyone being passed level 100 having so much better shit lol wiping everyone out in a minute 💀

How to do more than 9999 damage?
In this video it's due to Armiger Unleashed but there are other methods. Rare Metal item, the ascension grid skill called limitless link, and a few others.

Armiger unleashed has a lot of invincible animations. I abuse them to avoid damage.
I remember fighting this boss again and again to level up and get the weapons. I just equipped the Magitek armor for all of them to ease the process XD

@@Xivinux The crossover event was made permanent, btw. You can still play this fight. There is a hanger near the Cauthess Rest Area. Look for a fat Chocobo sitting on a female NPC. Talk to that NPC to start the "Adventurer from Another World" quest. That quest will lead you to fight the level 45 version of this boss. After defeating her, you can replay that boss fight any number of times, and an "Extreme" version opens up where the boss is level 120.
Now I know freezing the armiger bar was a mistake... lol

From the FFXIV crossover event... it has been converted into a permanent event so you can still access it today. You must start the "Adventurer from Another World" quest from past Lucis to gain access.

@@far_257 hahaha, nvm, it's a joke. FF14 players do extreme fights in unsynced mode to farm mounts etc. Unsynced means your character gets to have the current stats/level/skill without being synced down to the real level of the fight.

@@ilmischino3255 You mean Armiger Unleashed? If you have the Royal Pack downloaded or got the Royal Edition, you can get it by finishing the game, get all 13 Royal Arms and get the Founder King's Sigil.

@@ilmischino3255 the Founder's King Sigil can be found close to the Keytriarch dungeon. You get it when you check a statue
The fact that the level 120 boss still gives only 1 Allagan Tomestone is ridiculous. That should reward you with at least 10 at a time. It's just a waste of time otherwise
yeah if you're just farming you should just fight the level 45 one. this one is just for the fun of the challenge
@@far_257 Yea.. I wonder if there are any mods that increase the reward for the higher difficulty one or even both? It's a tough ask to do the same fight hundreds and hundreds of times for weapons with slightly above standard stats. I like the fight and it's certainly a lot faster with Armiger unleashed but still... 😅 As a Warframe player I'm very familiar and comfortable with long grinds but this just seems waayy over the top

links strike, blindside links, and parry/counters. the first two are obviously impossible in Armiger Unleashed mode, and Garuda only has one attack you can parry and she uses it very infrequently. It's kind of a false stat to go for, although A+ in finesse is something I routinely get when fighting outside of armiger mode.

Many people say « just use 1_| and it’w enough », but when i see an fight with these gamer, they litterally spam Elixir abd ressurection… FFXV us east because you can healing yiourself for 200 gils… I’m sure, if FFXV was an hard mode, like Costlemark and his 99 stairs, an donjon who you can’t use item…
