I actually got this exhaust installed a couple weeks ago, and absolutely love the way it sounds. I honestly thought that while driving, it was a bit on the loud side, and gets really loud when I'm at WOT. One thing I love about this exhaust, too, are the burbles you get at deceleration, and the occasional pop when you rev it. To me, this exhaust overall sounds more aggressive than the other exhausts. It's loud when I want it to be, and quiet when I need it to be. I LOVE that there's no drone while cruising on the freeway. I can enjoy my music or hold a conversation, windows both up and down.
Do you notice any drone at 3k RPM? I deleted my resonator and there is a bunch of drone in the cabin at 3k rpm and at 1.5k rpm. Most noticeable cruising above 65mph, specifically around 70-75mph
When I'm just cruising on the freeway at 75mph, I hear very little to no drone. I hear a little drone when I need to give it some gas, like when I'm going up a hill, but it still isn't that bad. I've always been able to hold a conversation with anyone that has ever ridden in my car, and I've never gotten any complaints. If anything, I get more compliments!
Think this is louder than the mbrp with stock downpipe? I've heard some people say that the Borla is extremely loud at WOT but pretty subtle at normal cruising speeds. Want the loudest exhaust that I can get that doesn't drone badly at highway speeds. Part of me just wants to say fuck it, get the Roush, but idk if I can live with THAT amount of drone when going a couple states away.
Bro nice ride. I just got my 2016 ST last month and I love it but my first step in upgrading it is the Catback exhaust. I will definitely get the Borla and by listening and watching your videos I could finally get a decision. Koriginal wich blow off valve do you recommend me? I was thinking of getting the Turbosmart. Thanks again and for the videos and tips.
+Juan Raygoza good choice bro! The borland sounds great. And if you could afford it is would get a hks blow off valve. It sounds bad ass! But if your looking for a also nice sound and good price. Either go with the turbosmart or the boomba. Both equally good sounding BOVS! Also thanks for liking my videos bro. Hope you continue to watch
As far as I have worked out, getting an external BOV for the ST's type of turbo system can lover the performance and cause lag. Worth looking it up before you stick one on! No point in sounding cool if its slower!
where did you jack up the car in order to put the jackstands on the pinch welds? I couldn't figure out where to put the jack in order to do it on the front and rear
+ShadowJ20 I drove his and then mine today and I would have to say from inside the car. Borla was quieter. But honestly bro its so close. Definitely like the borla exhaust note more though!
stupid question, im new to cars, if i wanted to get this exhsust, and i thought it was too quiet, could i buy an aftermarket downpipe? to make it louder?
What good afternoon, excuse me muffle you put the focus st blue, bi your video but do not say what number or code to order the muffler I have a 2014 and I liked the muffle that you installed the focus st blue, sorry the writing does not ablo English I am using Google Translate.
+ShadowJ20 Cobb has this deep rasp that I really like. But honestly the Cobb looks better. And is louder at idle... the borla is super quiet dude... so you know what I change my mind. I like Cobb better. But the rasp is nice
Do you recommend this for daily car ? I looking for exhaust which will be comfortable (without headache or drone) on normal speeds in 2k - 2,5k rpm end loud when I need this :)
+chimpanshane we have a local sticker guy who makes any stickers for us. So it was custom fit to his mud flaps as were mine. You gotta find a sticker guy bro
Phormio123 Unlikely , you'd have to check the floor pan to see if there's space to put the box and run the pipes through the centre , then you need the hanger points , and even if you have all of that you'd have to either cut the rear bumper out or see if a ST bumper has the same fixing as yours. Personally I'd say your better off with a custom exhaust and may be go for the mk2 ST look, with a pipe either side with a dummy pipe running off to the other side . In all honestly I'd go for one that fits your car it's less hassle .

You made up my mind, thanks.
to me, I love an exhaust that you can hear outside, but not on the inside.
I’m honestly not trying to troll but you gotta do something about that mustache bruh
no lie some napoleon dynamite shit

he's got mad ballz cutting that pipe without safety glasses on lol
+Joshua Cao lol! He'll yea! If you watched my install I was hella protected!!
i was just thinking the same thing. Probably never had metal fly in his eye :(
did you think the borla is loud inside the car with the windows up? When driving like half-full throttle?
Honestly borla sounded REALLY nice in and outside. And wasnt too loud or quiet. Just right
where did you jack up the car in order to put the jackstands on the pinch welds? I couldn't figure out where to put the jack in order to do it on the front and rear
2 and half inch or 3 inch exhaust??
Is the intake sound stock?
it sounds awesome
+Joseph Allen it really does haha!
Are you sure the Borla is quieter than the Cobb? I thought Borla was the loudest. Have you ever been in a MBRP?
+ShadowJ20 I drove his and then mine today and I would have to say from inside the car. Borla was quieter. But honestly bro its so close. Definitely like the borla exhaust note more though!
+ShadowJ20 also. Yes. But the owner removed the resonators. Plus had a catless downpipe. So that's not a normal mbrp haha
+George Brewer add my Instagram bro
All these people talking about the exhaust and I'm just wondering what's going on with your mustache...
+Chris Tolley I shaved it a couple days ago.. but this made me lol!
Chris I see you lol small world
@@CaseyHardman Haha what’s up 👋
What brand you have on Blow off Valve ? I have the Stock one in my 2016 ST
stupid question, im new to cars, if i wanted to get this exhsust, and i thought it was too quiet, could i buy an aftermarket downpipe? to make it louder?
+Issy Manak yes that will work. But I know the borla has a nice deep sound. Plus a downpipe will be beast
Would this still pass emission?
I just got a ST3 2013 with a cat back flowmaster, and it makes me laugh every time I hear it
What good afternoon, excuse me muffle you put the focus st blue, bi your video but do not say what number or code to order the muffler I have a 2014 and I liked the muffle that you installed the focus st blue, sorry the writing does not ablo English I am using Google Translate.
For the Borla exhaust? It's Borla: 140504
If you had the choice between the Borla and Cobb what would you take? Price not being a factor.
+ShadowJ20 I would choose borla
What does the Borla do better? In all the videos that I have seen. I think Cobb sounds the best.
+ShadowJ20 Cobb has this deep rasp that I really like. But honestly the Cobb looks better. And is louder at idle... the borla is super quiet dude... so you know what I change my mind. I like Cobb better. But the rasp is nice
When you drive normal is the Cobb exhaust noise noticeable in the cabin (windows up)?
+ShadowJ20 yes. Sounds great. And the borla is almost not noticeable haha
Do you recommend this for daily car ? I looking for exhaust which will be comfortable (without headache or drone) on normal speeds in 2k - 2,5k rpm end loud when I need this :)
Why want it loud bro . It sounds good
yeah win win for me
Are you professional mechanics? what is your job?
Bakersfield gang
🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
what cold air intake do you have ?
Love the borla exhaust on my FoST
Any idea if it will fit on the normally aspirated ford fiesta 1.6 SE?
where did Beto buy those fifteen52 stickers?
+chimpanshane we have a local sticker guy who makes any stickers for us. So it was custom fit to his mud flaps as were mine. You gotta find a sticker guy bro
does this also fit a regular ford focus Red Edition 2015?
+Phormio123 mmmm well I think you would have to have a center exhaust bro. I'm not to sure to be honest
Phormio123

Is this the S series or touring series?
Sounds amazing!
Next mod I get is the exhaust I'm tied between the borla and mbrp though. Price reasons because borla is definitely best sounding to me!
+Mateo Oliveras yea I agree on that if i didn't get my Cobb for $500, I definitely would have got borla!
Koriginal ST how's the drone? Is it a lot
+Mateo Oliveras nope. Almost none at all!
Do you need a tune after install?
+wcontreras34 nah dude.
Do you recommend the ngk plugs for just a stock motor?
+wcontreras34 nope. After intercooler or downpipe and a tune. You'll need one...exhaust and intake you don't need one either
Last question. Do you have to get a computer reprogramming after install of new exhaust?
+Fernando ST no you don't
For shits and giggles would have been funny to hear it dumped after the cat. I'll try it for a sec with my ST when I change the exhaust lol
+Aaron Stahnke he didn't want to!... lil scaredy cat!
I was really debating on the Borla before my muffler delete. when he broke the blade I was lmao haha!
+TechNation yea I was too! But I found my cobb for $500 so you know i had to get that haha
But lol! I was dying too bro!
Koriginal ST That's such a great price.
+TechNation seriously! It was 2 weeks old also! But I had to drive 3 hours for it..... lol
Koriginal ST Dang! So worth it though.
+TechNation heck yea! Hahaha it was a steal. Now only if I can get an intercooler...
passes the baby test :P
the right tool for the job: floor jack bro.. floor jack
Like the Cobb more still but good exhaust overall
+Krabb me too. But I agree it is a good exhaust ha
Krabb I'm on the fence between this or cobb
Borla is the best.
who da fuq is dis guy
U so gangsta... LOL
Good
Psht.. Psht.. Psht..
ROUSH is the best for your ST
All the reviews for that one say the drone is really bad, especially at 70mph.
Yeah the drone is terrible
I personally love the AWE Track Exhaust
