loved this beautiful video ❤ I went through a divorce last year and completely resonate with the notion of putting yourself in uncomfortable situations to get more comfortable with being alone. This made me feel seen and it’s so lovely that other women are embarking on this healing journey, and embracing the “discomfort” of being alone and seeing the beauty in the journey 🤍
I really appreciated how you made a comment that the only way in life to overcome uncomfortable feelings is to simply put ourselves into those very situations that make us feel uncomfortable (to a certain degree of course). I was not watching this vlog with the intent to "fix"/deal with some uncomfortable feelings I have about going back to uni after a nice long break. However, this really helped me realize I am capable...after going back & having my first day tomorrow I know I will find that being in this uncertain/uncomfortable environment will allow me to feel more comfortable and relaxed knowing I will be okay. Thank you for your wise words
I'm genuinely loving that you're embracing singledom no matter how uncomfortable and painful it could be. You're looking healthy n happy regardless and addressing intrusive thoughts n emotions. Mental health is so important. Im now single for almost 2yrs after a very painful break-up n I've done a lot of self work. Like you I never been one to think I need to be in a relationship,but I'm not opposed to being in love again if that ever happens. Happy Galentines day Jess! 🌹🌹

Thank you for sharing this Jess, as someone who has been single for many years couldn't agree more, it's so hard to please anyone really when you are single, it's either people being jealous of your life or being sad for you when you are not , in the part where I live in, in the eyes of the society I should have been married, have several kids if not have a child at least for myself.

I'm in my early forties now, but came out of a long-term relationship towards the end of my twenties and spent my whole early thirties alone - it turned out to be the absolute best time and such an important chapter of my life, so its great to see you embracing being single, free and able to explore all of the things that appeal most to you right now. As you say, you are the most important love of your life and its such a wonderful thing to feel at peace by yourself and happy in your own company!
I really enjoyed this vlog❤ I’m in my early 20s & I have always put others before me. I recently moved to another country to start afresh & really understand, love & learn myself on my own. It feels freeing.

To echo another comment, I too am recently single and at 51, a hefty chunk older than you, but I know the way to a more satisfying relationship is through working on myself while I am single. I’ve been here before. I’m totally ok with it at the moment and more than ever trusting I’m right where I need to be and a better partnership will arrive when the time is right.
