Hello! Interior Designer here - I'd consider installing a full length mirror to that whole wall (where the drawers & shelves are in the vlog) adjacent to the window! Maximise the sense of space, light and you can then move furniture wherever! Also look at a side table to accompany the chair and consider some art to draw the eye up, as everything is very bottom heavy.

Okay so for this room you're not sure about, I would personally put a high shelf all along this wall where the mirror is in the vlog. It can even be a quite industrial looking shelf (at home I have some called Riveto in a light grey almost cream, they resemble HAY ones but much cheaper and bigger).
All the content of these two small pieces of furniture would fit there and you would even have space left. You can make it neater with some boxes for the things you want to have hidden (maybe what's in the wooden piece). Why not add a plant or two on the big shelf, some books, give it a bit of a vibe.
It would then give space for the mirror to go where the furniture currently is and the armchair would also have space in the corner, between mirror and curtains :)
And then add a bunch of hanging droopy plants to balance out the industrial feel / act as a cover-up!
For the room keeping original furniture, I would place the dresser on same wall as the door, metal shelf on wall opposite wardrobes, mirror closest to window on same wall as metal shelf, and then chair in front of window. Don’t know if this works logistically but first idea that came to mind!
