You made this video too early! You should've waited for Hollow Knight to come out on the switch. It's difficult but (mostly) fair with intense boss battles, beautiful music, stunning visuals, simple controls, and tons of content and secrets. A casual play through can take up to 40 hours and to 106% the game can take up to 60 hours. Well worth the $15 price tag.
And the best soundtrack to any game I've ever heard in my entire fucking gaming life I first time I listened to it I started crying the first ever time I cried to a games soundtrack 😢 😃
I can't stress it enough, Celeste is my favorite game to date. I'm not usually into difficult pixel-perfect platforming, but Celeste just resonates with me because it so easily teaches you its mechanics
All fantastic games (Celeste is my game of the year so far honestly), but I'll say the game I completely didn't expect to fall in love with was Golf Story. I'm glad it was touched on here because it's seriously such a charming and fun experience. Great writing, incredibly fun take on the Mario Golf kind of gameplay, and always finding ways to mix things up. Even if you're not really into sports games, Golf Story is fantastic.
Celeste, Shovel Knight, Stardew Valley, Xeodrifter, Furi, Mummy Demastered, Steredenn, Kamiko, Neuro Voider, Blossom Tales, Cave Story, Mantis Burn Racing and Axiom Verge are my absolute Top Nindies.
Cave Story is one of the best indie games of all time in my opinion (w/ the switch home to the definitive version), so I'm saddened to not even see it in the shout-outs.

Night in the Woods is a great game but sadly is ignored for Celeste and Bayonetta 1 & 2 People, PLEASE get NITW for the Switch It's an amazing journey that's worth the $20
Bleed and Bleed 2 are fantastic! On PC, Switch, XB1, and PS4! They're fast-paced, 2D-Run N Gun, Shoot 'em Ups. They're amazing games for speedrunning (as one run doesn't take much time, and replayability is encouraged), and they feel downright amazing to play! Keyboard and Mouse controls are the best for the games unless it is an absolute necessity for you to use a controller. However, the Switch does allows for play on the go, so that's a good enough reason to buy them for Switch.
You forgot darkest dungeon, the permadeath of characters and the stress system makes it quite the challenge... plus the story and narratives are just AWESOME
You look like a badass super villain. I'm serious. Put on a fur coat and wrap your left arm with a chain and spiky ball. Also you need a good back story.
Side note: the Switch itself fits well on the front pockets, as it's smaller than most tablets. I love having the Joycons/8bitdo separate on my shirt pocket or keeping the Pro in either a bag or the extra pockets on my cargo pants. Not as perfect as the all the DS clamshell portables that have come out over the years, but you definitely don't need a travel bag for your Switch, unless you NEED to take your physical games with you. In fact, unlike the clamshells, it's far more durable (seriously have you seen the height it can be dropped from?) and you don't have to worry about the L and R buttons getting damaged. You just have to get a screen protector......which you should do anyway for ANYTHING with a screen in it anyway.
Aegis Defenders is a fantastic game I wish more people had played. Adventure Pals was also pretty great. Otherwise you covered all the greats...Axiom Verge, Celeste, Golf Story, Stardew, Steamworld Dig 2. Well done!
Where are wonder boy, the mummy demastered & dandara. There are so many good ones, the list can just keep going with the escapists 2, oceanhorn, ittle dew 2+, cave story+, volgarr the viking, shu, shantae, binding of issac, blaster master zero and morrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre.
Dead Cells is great for switch but it grew very stale very quick just playing on my console. But for on the go its perfect cus it can be picked up and put down very easily. Salt & Sanctuary is great for any system and Hollow Knight as well. Just heard it's being released on ps4 and switch come spring 2019. Really hyped!

Just making sure Gunvolt is on this list... I'd personally also put the Longest 5 Minutes because Mother/Earthbound games get me a lot against a lot of odds and the Longest 5 Minutes is basically Earthbound/Mother 4. Itoi concluded the EB/Mother franchise forever by saying that he considers anything inspired by the soul of Mother to basically be a sequel, and many have made games inspired by Mother, like Undertale, that kinda look the part and kinda sound the part, but only the Longest 5 Minutes has the soul of Mother too. Any fans of the series owe it to themselves to play through that game.
It's hard to say you missed some out since there are so many gems. I would say Snake Pass and Fast RMX deserve a shout out, but yeah, can't argue with the list there!

I literally just bought SteamWorld Dig 1 & 2 on Switch. I also picked up the Special Edition on Fire Emblem Warriors. I also picked up a Pro Controller,2 wired controllers for the switch, a light up Switch Dock Plate from GameStop, and Dragon Quest Warriors off of the eShop along with Stardew Valley and I also picked up a 128gb Micro SD Card.

Shovel knight. if you like classic castlevania games you’ll love spector knight. I haven’t played owlboy yet, but it looks really interesting. I’m picking that one up soon. Another great game is steam world dig 2. you really can’t go wrong with those games.

Man Celeste was sooo good. I didn't expect the plot to get me so invested like it did. One of my favorite indies ever now.
