I first played the game in 2018 and recently got into it again. If you're bored of it definitely try playing with a friend, that's what i did and I've got like 200 hours in a new farm and we're trying to reach perfection.

i haven't played odyssey but i feel like a lot more time could be gotten out of it since i've played ocarina of time more than you've played odyssey and oot doesn't have nearly as much to do
Hades IMO is the best bang for your buck. You can put in hundreds of hours easily for only 19.99, and it has a great story, great gameplay mechanics and tons of stuff to want to collect. It's a great indie-ish game and was really deserving of the GOTY nod it got last year. It's the kind of game that makes me put it's developer on my list to be willing to try just about anything they put out.
Depends on the type of game. If it's a cinematic story-driven game that's 20 hours long, I don't want it to be stretched into 60 hours by adding a bunch of filler and bullshit.
I would like to say: your ads are the best ads in NA market. Really, NA youtuber's don't know how to make ads but you know. I always watch your ads. I'm from Brazil so the ads I see everyday are way different from the ones in general USA. Congratulations, your work is AWESOME. 🤗🤗

Dude, DON'T dump on Farm Together! I spent a few dozen hours on that one since I got it, and it's pretty enjoyable. It's not meant to be like Animal Crossing - no villagers and stuff, you know. My playtime is nowhere near what I put into New Horizons, but it's fun to start up every once in a while, unlock new crops and random things to put on your farm, expand in one direction or another, and just mess around a little. It's not a bad game, and someone definitely put a lot of effort into this one. It didn't feel like a cheap mobile game port or something.
Pokémon fanboy here. I’ve gotten in the habit of getting both versions. I buy one digitally because I don’t want to wait and a physical copy because I like having my nostalgia games in their boxes. Makes life easier when you want to complete the dex, evolve certain pokemon, and i get both box cover legendaries. Both copies get complete play throughs, but only one gets the 300+ hour treatment. Shiny and competitive.
I also think Pokemon sword and shield are good time consumers, you can really do a lot of different things after the main story, i've already sunken in well over 250 hours and don't feel like stopping lol
I feel everything that sint the actual main story part of the games is the actual worthwhile part and the 'main game' the story was just the filler I needed to do to unlock the fun part
I have so many hours in that due VCG, competitive breeding, shiny hunting, making a living dex. It’s like so much to do but the main quest is like 3 mins
@@Cortxx The main story is about 20h. Then it is up to the person to decide how much time they will spend. If someone decides to shinyhunt or maybe trying to get good at online battles the hours could stock up to many hours. and I am not sure how, but I have played almost 800hours in pokemon pearl without shiny hunting
Same but now I've been playing Splatoon 2 for the past year and a half and have 4200hrs which is probably more than what I ever had on WoW during the same time frame
Skyrim and Assassin’s Creed 3 feel endless to me. The first time I hit a snowy forest in AC3 I rode around exploring the boundaries/limits of that part of the map for days on end because it was so beautiful. Skyrim is another amazing place to explore and do random things outside of actual quests/the story line.
The Switch sound as a censor beep was just glorious xD I remember spending a year on Animal Crossing New Leaf, playing 2 hours or so each day until I got bored because the lack of new things, also I had to reset my entire town, and didn't wanted to do all over again, but I'm back, mostly because New Horizons is still to expensive for my poor wallet :'(

I've played stardew valley and dead cells for hundreds of hours. They're both games with a ton of replayability and can re-hook me. The issue I had with animal crossing is that I was hooked for my first 80 hours, and now I've played maybe an hour in the last year. It just didn't hook me again, and that's how you lose my attention on a game.
My girlfriend and I played Farm Together for quite awhile, and the mechanics get surprisingly deep. There are a lot of fun, novel things you can earn for your farm and the time-based system was very cool, imho.
I spent more time on any other game with The Binding Of Isaac... Then, I was like, I played it so much do I really want to buy it again for Switch? And I finally did, and I'm playing it constantly again and it feels like a hole has been filled in my life. Something about that game makes it better than any other in existence.

@@dbgt777 I know it likes to toot its horn on the online thing, but it's really a single player game :( You can't play any of the story with another player, the only stuff online is on your own personal island. I was really disappointed about the misleading co-op, but it's a super fun single player game and I still highly recommend it!
The game I've spent the most amount of time in (180hrs) - but nevertheless do not feel as if I'd learned and played enough - is Civilization VI. Really, if you're remotely into strategy games you should try it. Especially with all the Expansions it's just purely great and if I'm not wrong they're still working on updates. EVERY game feels different and there are so many ways to win - most of which I haven't even begun to discover.
In theory I like the idea of games you can play at anytime and get hours out of, but in practice I usually prefer variety and switching between games as often as possible.
Monster Hunter multiplayer is seriously the greatest and most enjoyable way to play Monster Hunter and the community is one of the best ones you'll find.
Agreed. As a new member to the mh franchise, I must say I quite like the community. They’re supportive, welcoming and understanding, though a little snobbish when it comes to discussions comparing monster hunter games to each other, but that’s to be expected. Farm Together, that'll be somebody who bought a second copy on a separate Switch. This allows essentially a dedicated server, as long as that switch is always running, random people can enter at any time and farm. The game is actually really addictive though lol. It's a boring game to stream to people but it's a good chill game with friends.
I *LOVED* it, until I discovered sysbots which imo completely destroyed the game. I no longer had the desire to shiny hunt or find mons with certain abilities, plus I no longer have NSO.

Disgaea 4, 5, & 6. Main story takes about 50-100 hours and postgame content can easily exceed 600+ hours. Stats that go into the millions, billions, and trillions, and no, you don't need to play the early ones to understand the later ones, start with 6, then go back to 5, and play 4, skip number 1 (unless you want to see how it all started).

I like it when a game with a story element is beatable in 5-15 hours where afterwards you can choose to complete everything or not. But my go to games on the Switch are 2D/3D platformers and level based games like all the Mario games and Mario + Rabbids etc
Another game that you could play for a really long time is hollow knight. Although it only has about 25 hours in the main story, if you want to complete all of the endings it could take you up to 45. Also, once you complete the game, you unlock steel soul mode, which means you have to complete the game without dying. Highly reccomend.

Since then it's been a bit hard to get back into since I was able to stop playing it every waking moment of my life and I'm worried it will just sink its teeth into me again.
i feel you on that one😂😂
I first played the game in 2018 and recently got into it again. If you're bored of it definitely try playing with a friend, that's what i did and I've got like 200 hours in a new farm and we're trying to reach perfection.
man stardew valley still eats up my time like it's nothing

Hades IMO is the best bang for your buck. You can put in hundreds of hours easily for only 19.99, and it has a great story, great gameplay mechanics and tons of stuff to want to collect. It's a great indie-ish game and was really deserving of the GOTY nod it got last year. It's the kind of game that makes me put it's developer on my list to be willing to try just about anything they put out.
If I'm paying $60 for a game, I better get at least 60 hours out of it.
Depends on the type of game. If it's a cinematic story-driven game that's 20 hours long, I don't want it to be stretched into 60 hours by adding a bunch of filler and bullshit.
So mario games are not worth it, only need 12 hours to beat odyssey
@@BlueMoon-mb1hj I think i beat it on my first playthrough in 10 hours, and i wasnt even going fast. That game is laughably short.

I got hooked into the fire emblem franchise with three houses and ended up spending over 400 hours on the most of the English released games during the 2020 summer quarantine, and I loved every bit of it
Dude, DON'T dump on Farm Together!

Yeah, Shiny hunts are what keeps me playing
I have so many hours in that due VCG, competitive breeding, shiny hunting, making a living dex. It’s like so much to do but the main quest is like 3 mins
what the fuck how. the game barely has a story u just walk round battle people and catch pokemon thats it.

I finally just ordered my first nitendo switch yesterday super stoked!
Only thing I don't like about stardew valley time goes fast and they need to get expansions on the map and let u buy land and built bigger
