Only 70 hours in Animal Crossing? That’s like only playing it for a day.
Tf 🤣
Lmao me
I played like 200 hours but stopped and I’ve had it since launch. It’s fun at the beginning but when you get kk slider on your island there’s not much to do IMO.
I got bored of animal crossing cause it takes for ever to do anything in it.
I would get animal crossing but I would only play it for ten minutes.
I've played 250 hours of BoTW and I'm STILL finding new things and discovering new ways to play the game. Even once you've discovered every square inch of the game you can switch over to Master Mode and do it again in a seemingly fresh way. And don't get me started on the DLC. "Beating" BoTW is really not the goal, it's just something you happen to do along the way.
Damn dude no offense but I think you might have a problem, and I think your time could be spent elsewhere so when you look back and tell your virtual wife and virtual grandchildren what you did with your life you don't say... "well kiddos.. I helped stop the world's most deadliest epidemic by wearing a surgical mask that serves no purposes besides seeing how far backwards you will bend and dumb you are, but also got a sticker and an exclusive snapchat sticker that lasts for 1 day. You could say I'm a hero..
Oh I also played through the same video game multiple times."
They might glitch out at the idea of that, but if you spent a good amount of money on your virtual life simulation device they might ask why you played the same game that is a 7/10 at best (especially when you compare it to Windwaker) so many times over and over?
@@kane00000 tf are you going on about
@UCCrKbKZFn-afGWD5rg-E-yA have u played botw? exactly $tfu u have no idea what a gamers experience is like

For me Animal Crossing is the most endless game you can buy, its not just about collecting everything. Even after collecting everything you still want to play because you miss your villagers or you want to experience new changes in the seasons. It becomes a daily routine
Yeah but the thing is when it came out for release it was all fun and everything but after one year of release with the same events it became somewhat boring
Yes
Well I have 4200hrs on Splatoon 2 now, and that's not idle time either
when does the game become fun. i think its way too free and also too little to do kinda. i played untill i was gonna open some zoo or something and then dropped it becouse of the fact that i made a tent and a rod in 10 fucking hours
Dude. It's worse than a mobile game for me. You pay 60$ for w o r k i n g? And even if you collect all the things, what do you have left? The villagers AI is worse than previous games and the internet Support is terrible. You have to wait just for the sake of waiting. The menus of crafting are terrible after the 100th time. Imagine after the 10000th time because everything breaks. Decorations are in my opinion lame. And... where's Mr. RESETTI??
For me this game is just boring, maybe the first 10 hours were fine, but after that you can't really get back to the game anymore. Let alone 1000 hours put into it. There's simply nothing to do for an action player myself.
Hades, baby! I'm only about 90 hours into it but I still can't put it down. Still lots to unlock.
I need to pick that back up. I bought The Binding Of Isaac Afterbirth, again, and got lost in it, again 😑 ... Hades is great but it's way more stressful and hurts the hands as opposed to BOI.
@@xenos_n. it has amazing story also! That is the reason it keeps giving for me.
Exactly what i was thinking, this was one of the few games that i have one my switch and ive already spent over 25 hours on it after having it for 2 weeos max (not just that but ive had a lot of school, pretty much all my time in the days were spent either on school, eating/sleeping or this game.)
@@xenos_n. I really want to buy Isaac on switch but I have it on steam and I can't justify spending the money goddamnit
Hades does not have nearly that much play time unless you really really suck. I’m Nearly 100% at 51 hours and I didn’t use god mode.’Add another 2 hours and I’ll have it 100%’d
I really wish every passionate gamer could experience breath of the wild at least once in their life

@@soundsgood5314 I beat the game in roughly 25 to 30 hours. I haven't played it since. In other words, he probably has played BoTW
@@Abou47Pandas It was a joke xD
Idk how people can enjoy spending hundreds of hours on rpg/open world games like Xenoblade Chronicles and BOTW. Just gets boring after a while. I'll never understand the appeal I guess lol.
@@jaidsalgado I know right?! I love to play through zelda OOT and other zelda titles bunches of times, but BoTW has hit me different and I could barely beat the game let alone replay it. I started master mode and man that is even more dreadfully annoying than the original game. I want so bad to actually enjoy playing the game, but alas I am sitting around 35 hours on BoTW while I desperately hope that BoTW 2 will have whatever it takes for me to actually enjoy it.
Nobody is talking about Civ6. That game has endless replayability for me.
Not endless for my poor pc's cpu
Just purchased Romance of the Three Kingdoms (I think it’s #14?) from Play Asia. Hoping it is as awesome as Civ 6, given that CIV is my most played switch game as well. I’ve never played it before, but saw a video about it from Switch Watch, and it seems like it should be similar.
I just started getting into Nintendo Switch stuff recently because of Animal Crossing sucking me in. I found your channel because of your videos on the OLED Switch. You are easily one of the most entertaining content creators I have seen i a long time. Keep up the good work!

breath of the wild is one of these "dangerous games" for me. i take a break from it and then beat it all over again lol.
I got it at launch and I still havent finished it lmao, I never was able to get into it
Same honestly
I put so much time into it but I haven't been able to bring myself to do another playthrough quite yet. I'm thinking 2021 is the year I put 300 hours into BotW again, though 😂
"Dangerous games" huh? For me that's games like Animal Crossing, Smash Ultimate and now Mario 3D World if I'm being honest. I ALWAYS come back to ACNH and SSBU, 3D World is going to have the same fate. And that's just games I have to pay for, free-to-play games like Ninjala also hooked me. But it's free, so I'm not counting it even if I do genuinely enjoy it
_"I take a break from it and then beat it all over again"_
I started playing Splatoon 2 a year ago at the start of quarantine. Guess how many hours I have on it? 1600. Please try out the series if you haven't!!
Im glad to see a new fan. Easily the best competitive multiplayer game ive ever played.
Yes so good to see fellow Splatoon lovers
Ive racked up 4200hrs in a year and a half on Splat2, it's not idle time either
@G L Ranked mode, getting into competitive, playing with friends, getting the Octo Expansion, loving the music and art style, and the game having probably the most fun mechanic of any game I’ve ever played
FE: Three Houses over here 👋 Playing through the different houses and different difficulties.

Tetris 99. Still my most played game. No matter what new games I get, I still play Tetris 99 at least once a day for about 20-30 minutes.
I force myself to play it but I just can't. I can see why people would like it
My always go to game for me is battlefield 4 no matter what so I feel what your saying
Really?? I played it a couple times and it was so boring... like why move little blocks while random things are flashing at you when you can play dozens of MUCH better Nintendo titles like Zelda or Mario Kart...
it's so soothing. Most people wouldn't understand the appeal, but its definitely something that you get tired of it after 25m - 2h depending on the person.
@@shhydxghfcbjfxvhjf yeah, there are way more awesome games, its just a calming puzzle game you play for a while then move onto something else.
Dude, DON'T dump on Farm Together! I spent a few dozen hours on that one since I got it, and it's pretty enjoyable. It's not meant to be like Animal Crossing - no villagers and stuff, you know. My playtime is nowhere near what I put into New Horizons, but it's fun to start up every once in a while, unlock new crops and random things to put on your farm, expand in one direction or another, and just mess around a little. It's not a bad game, and someone definitely put a lot of effort into this one. It didn't feel like a cheap mobile game port or something.
I finally just ordered my first nitendo switch yesterday super stoked!
I love Stardew Valley man it’s so good
I neva played it but I hear gd stuff about it...why is it sooo good?
@@jermainejones54 I personally liked it because it's a perfect blend of a farm sim, dungeon crawler, and life sim. Also, the characters feel like actual people and have real world problems and routines. Just very fleshed out I guess.

i haven't played odyssey but i feel like a lot more time could be gotten out of it since i've played ocarina of time more than you've played odyssey and oot doesn't have nearly as much to do

Same but now I've been playing Splatoon 2 for the past year and a half and have 4200hrs which is probably more than what I ever had on WoW during the same time frame
The Switch sound as a censor beep was just glorious xD
I remember spending a year on Animal Crossing New Leaf, playing 2 hours or so each day until I got bored because the lack of new things, also I had to reset my entire town, and didn't wanted to do all over again, but I'm back, mostly because New Horizons is still to expensive for my poor wallet :'(
The Hyrule Warriors games got quite a lot of hours out of me.
Yeah same I have over 175h on it

I went down a whole letter grade in my Ethics class when I found Stardew Valley. I was playing that game like it was my full time job. Since then it's been a bit hard to get back into since I was able to stop playing it every waking moment of my life and I'm worried it will just sink its teeth into me again.
i feel you on that one😂😂
I first played the game in 2018 and recently got into it again. If you're bored of it definitely try playing with a friend, that's what i did and I've got like 200 hours in a new farm and we're trying to reach perfection.
man stardew valley still eats up my time like it's nothing
It’s not a game anymore, stardew valley is a lifestyle choice
Who else felt like they could listen to bob talk randomness forever
He is absurdly engaging... I thoroughly enjoy his content... every time...
I agree. His content is very enjoyable 😂
Fishing with a lightening rod was one of the most rewarding things I discovered in BoTW.
I also think Pokemon sword and shield are good time consumers, you can really do a lot of different things after the main story, i've already sunken in well over 250 hours and don't feel like stopping lol
I feel everything that sint the actual main story part of the games is the actual worthwhile part and the 'main game' the story was just the filler I needed to do to unlock the fun part
Yeah, Shiny hunts are what keeps me playing
I have so many hours in that due VCG, competitive breeding, shiny hunting, making a living dex. It’s like so much to do but the main quest is like 3 mins
what the fuck how. the game barely has a story u just walk round battle people and catch pokemon thats it.
@@Cortxx The main story is about 20h. Then it is up to the person to decide how much time they will spend. If someone decides to shinyhunt or maybe trying to get good at online battles the hours could stock up to many hours. and I am not sure how, but I have played almost 800hours in pokemon pearl without shiny hunting
I would like to say: your ads are the best ads in NA market. Really, NA youtuber's don't know how to make ads but you know. I always watch your ads. I'm from Brazil so the ads I see everyday are way different from the ones in general USA. Congratulations, your work is AWESOME. 🤗🤗

Skyrim and Assassin’s Creed 3 feel endless to me. The first time I hit a snowy forest in AC3 I rode around exploring the boundaries/limits of that part of the map for days on end because it was so beautiful. Skyrim is another amazing place to explore and do random things outside of actual quests/the story line.
Me: *typing about how splatoon wasn’t mentioned*

Any rogue like games work too like dead cells, enter the gungeon AND HADES
No it doesn't Hades I've played for 6hrs and it's just really boring
@@sebpink9757 Hades is amazing. I'm super late to the party and bought it a few weeks ago. Now, 30 hours in and constantly getting better and stronger. Great use of 30 spare minutes to pass the time.
It's story is so boring and it's the same thing over and over again quite literally which gets repetitive and boring/tiring
I liked dead cells for a bit but then it fell off a bit
Playing hades casually i have 70 hours, insane.
I can’t believe he took the butts out of the ads.
Pokémon fanboy here. I’ve gotten in the habit of getting both versions. I buy one digitally because I don’t want to wait and a physical copy because I like having my nostalgia games in their boxes. Makes life easier when you want to complete the dex, evolve certain pokemon, and i get both box cover legendaries. Both copies get complete play throughs, but only one gets the 300+ hour treatment. Shiny and competitive.
thank you for the video..will buy most of the games on the list..can play endlessly on switch
when rune factory 5 get released im gonna live inside that game
I like Farm Together. It's just a calm game. I don't feel like I need to rush through things. My farm is 90% apple trees just because I can do that.
how long you got in it?
@@WulffDen 25 hours.
My girlfriend and I played Farm Together for quite awhile, and the mechanics get surprisingly deep. There are a lot of fun, novel things you can earn for your farm and the time-based system was very cool, imho.
I like it when a game with a story element is beatable in 5-15 hours where afterwards you can choose to complete everything or not. But my go to games on the Switch are 2D/3D platformers and level based games like all the Mario games and Mario + Rabbids etc
Hades IMO is the best bang for your buck. You can put in hundreds of hours easily for only 19.99, and it has a great story, great gameplay mechanics and tons of stuff to want to collect. It's a great indie-ish game and was really deserving of the GOTY nod it got last year. It's the kind of game that makes me put it's developer on my list to be willing to try just about anything they put out.
Hades is a good honorable mention.
Im the name of Hades, I endorse this comment.
Absolutely! Lost many hours to this game.
@@KevinMontalbo They're not "lost" hours as long as you had fun imo

If I'm paying $60 for a game, I better get at least 60 hours out of it.
Depends on the type of game. If it's a cinematic story-driven game that's 20 hours long, I don't want it to be stretched into 60 hours by adding a bunch of filler and bullshit.
So mario games are not worth it, only need 12 hours to beat odyssey
@@BlueMoon-mb1hj I think i beat it on my first playthrough in 10 hours, and i wasnt even going fast. That game is laughably short.
That perfect 1 $/hour ratio
@@TheAlibabatree eh it's a good game for people who are new in the gaming community and/or are mario fans
I spent more time on any other game with The Binding Of Isaac... Then, I was like, I played it so much do I really want to buy it again for Switch? And I finally did, and I'm playing it constantly again and it feels like a hole has been filled in my life. Something about that game makes it better than any other in existence.
I appreciate funny skits in sponsorship segments! 👍

I know this is an old video but I love your unique ad reads they are great
I've played stardew valley and dead cells for hundreds of hours. They're both games with a ton of replayability and can re-hook me. The issue I had with animal crossing is that I was hooked for my first 80 hours, and now I've played maybe an hour in the last year. It just didn't hook me again, and that's how you lose my attention on a game.
Only thing I don't like about stardew valley time goes fast and they need to get expansions on the map and let u buy land and built bigger
I too will "dabble" with Pyra.

The game I've spent the most amount of time in (180hrs) - but nevertheless do not feel as if I'd learned and played enough - is Civilization VI.
Really, if you're remotely into strategy games you should try it. Especially with all the Expansions it's just purely great and if I'm not wrong they're still working on updates. EVERY game feels different and there are so many ways to win - most of which I haven't even begun to discover.
In theory I like the idea of games you can play at anytime and get hours out of, but in practice I usually prefer variety and switching between games as often as possible.

Agreed. As a new member to the mh franchise, I must say I quite like the community. Im surprised you didn't mention mario odyssey. I've been playing it recently and there is so much to do
70 hours in Animal Crossings... me with 425 hours in and just now finished searching for my dream villagers and started working on my island. lol
Also rougelikes! These can be endless if you get hooked.
-The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+
-Spelunky 1 & 2
-Into The Breach
-Hades
-Dicey Dungeons
-Neuro Voider
-Crypt of The NecroDancer
-Slay the Spire
Just to name a few.
I already watched this but now that I actually have money to buy more games, this is such a good video 🎉❤❤!!! Thank you, Bob 😊
My most played game was Super Mario Maker 2, I specifically got my switch just for it. I sunk many hours into building levels, just like I had done with the Wii U game. (That one was even crazier with how long I had spent on it.) But recently, I sold it. I'm a little upset, but I know it was for the greater good. I found a game that is very similar, but way better. Levelhead. I think people should try it.
Bob: Nintendo switch games you can play FOREVER
Super Mario 35: *sad mario noises*
Oh, Mamma mia! Oh, no!
I can't believe Mario is dead
My most played game on Switch is Pokemon Shield with 680 hours! My wife and I would sit and do raids while watching Netflix for hours every night. Can't wait for more Pokemon games to come because I love to shiny farm. Also have about 460 hours on Smash.
I swear this is the video I’ve been waiting on
I'll just fire up the Switch and play a run or two of Hades.
One week later...
You should see how many hours I've clocked petting my Pikachu
same but for me it was on pokemon ultra moon for the 3ds
lol
Stardew Valley is amazing. I've been playing it since the first release on PC, now I have the game and a lot of playtime on PC, Xbox, Android and iPad :0
I love that there are lots of ports on the switch. I hope there are lots more! SSX quadrilogy, Skate. Trilogy, Wetrix, 2D Mario but the graphics are detailed intricate sprites and the levels are traversing real environments, Katamari Damacy Collection, Mario Pinball RPG (think yoku's Island, flipnic, etc), Game & Watch Master Collection, Rhythm Heaven Collection, ... .. .
Aside from being remasters, new entries in each of the series would be amazing also.
I have almost 100h in Hollow Knight and I love it. Nothing to add.
Awesome game worth to buy but sadly doesn’t give replayable value
@@PushPastMyLimits I dunno I have found myself replaying it quite often. I would say it has pretty good replay value trying to collect all charms and upgrades.
Terraria is the game I play the most, I just really like it
I asked a friend about terraria and they said something like "they still haven't added the final update, wait for it"
what's up with that?
@@TheGameChallenger Your friend is correct, the final update has not come to any consoles, its currently only on mobile and pc. If you want to wait until the update comes out to try the game that's fine.
Hades and Civilization 6 are my longest played games that weren't mentioned and are endless.
i just started with stardew valley, 50 hours in and the addiction is definetly there
