The only concerns I would have with these cheap replicas is two…the strength of the band to metal attachment and the actual material the metal attachment point is made of. I’ve read numerous reviews on Amazon where the strap to metal attachment point have broken during wear allowing the watch to fall to the ground. I’ve also read that the metal used isn’t titanium and therefore corrodes after getting wet. This might cause the metal attachment point to “weld” inside of the watch interface.
I have one of these on my 41mm Series 7. They made the replicas for the smaller Apple Watches and also there’s a case that makes a regular Apple Watch look like the Ultra. They originally only had them for the 44/45mm but now they’re available for the 40/41mm
Can you show the different markings on the adapters? Does the fake one have the M/L on one and 49mm on the other? Received a "real" one from Amazon that looks like the bands were switched with a fake since it didn't have these markings.
Can’t compare since I never had the genuine apple trail loop. $30 CDN for all three can’t beat the price. The only comparison I will make is that it is a hell of a lot more comfortable than the Apple Sport loops.
Having seen both side by side, the Amazon band is good but nowhere near the quality of the genuine Apple band. It’s a bit like comparing a fake $50 Apple Watch Ultra with the real thing. Looks identical from a distance but that is where the similarities end. If you just want to swap out your watch bands all the time, then get a load of cheaper bands. If you want to wear the same band for a year or more, buy the real deal. If an Apple band genuinely fails, you will at least get repairs and replacement without any hassle.
As for bands and straps, I only buy the ones because of quality. I do not want my Watch Ultra to fall off because of a lame strap… Yes!! The price is higher, but I always seek for quality instead of quantity… I have the Ocean band marine and the same Trail Loop… My 2 cents!
exactly. after finding out all these 3rd party loop bands, you really get a perspective at how much Apple marks up these accessories INSANELY. knowing the minor difference in quality, you can guess the cost price of these loops to be no more than a dollar plus.
The replicas have cheap pot metal clasps that corrodes and bends easily, weak hook and loop so the band doesn’t stay put or hold the watch snug to your wrist and poor quality stitching undoes itself over time. That said, I own several generic trail loops, and various other styles, and they are fine if you don’t expect anything more than a $5 band out of them. Looks aren’t everything.
I have a third party Trail Loop. It's pretty good but the orange flap is minimal.

The Amazon link no longer works

Do the replica bands have metal attachments or are they plastic?
Metal!
I bought one for $2 from China. looks pretty legit and works perfectly
Honestly there’s no reason for apple to be charging 100 usd. Maybe the titanium one or the Hermes but not the regular ones.
Strap like this u can get from Ali for 2$. Amazon sellers are buying their straps from China too and sell it x5 higher price.
Hi there can anyone tell me if I can use the trail loop on my 45 mm???
The only place where the replica bands show off their poor quality is at the clasps. They really don’t properly fit and always wiggle a little bit.
My genuine ocean band wiggles
@@kaynwells6936thats not genuine , or u have defected product bro
The link doesn't take me to Amazon page

The fake ones don’t have the 49mm or M/L on them from what we’ve seen
They have em on shien for 4$ 😂😂😂
Maybe do Silicone Bands next?
I bought this replica. And it’s perfect.

Ordered, its just 10 bucks now

Wary. Not weary.
False advertising for the replica. You can clearly see the gap between the watch and the strap lug

You could just buy AppleCare with the money you save with the 3rd party loop.
@@mattbrown292 Sure I could, but I have never bought AppleCare for any of my devices... Perhaps a bit old school:)
@@BrunoDECOURCY fair enough!

I got the replica for even cheaper like about USD 2
LOL I ordered the replica earlier today!
I’m sorry but who would want to spend a £100 on a strap from Apple !!!! Nothing wrong with the 3rd party straps on Amazon & eBay
Thanks for the video! I got the same replica Trail loop from China for 3$
Smart people go straight to the source, everyone else buys from Amazon drop shippers lol
Cheaper one
4 times price?
10 times price !
$20*5=$100
