I have all three original as well - running is hands down trail loop (even the Nike loops as well) and every day ocean. Even making dinner and getting dirty is the most easy to clean - alpine great as well
I used the ocean band as a workout band since last December (I work out daily, no crazy stuffy, just 30/40 minutes of weights or hiit at home) and the band while amazing is showing signs of damage were you have the titanium insert to lock it into the watch, so I had to change it (got a Nike sport loop). Alpine loop is very good for everyday use.
I have the Titan Milanaise strap for the Ultra 2 and am very happy with it. It is very stylish and is particularly comfortable to wear. However, it has to be said that it is quite prestigious.
You probably haven't tried Solo Loops. These elastic loops are incredibly comfortable to wear and are much easier to put on and take off than other types of bands.
I wear my Apple Watch Ultra every day for sleep tracking and running - I haven't found anything more practical and comfortable than the Nomad Sport Band. It's rugged, comfortable, breathable, and I don't have to worry about it absorbing sweat. I know a lot of people are big on the Nomad Rocky Point Band, but for something relatively low-profile, simple, and comfortable, the Nomad Sport Band ticks all the boxes for me. I've used it constantly for well over a year and it's still just as good as day one. I think it's also more secure than the standard Apple band, so I didn't worry about it coming off when I went swimming in the ocean. I'd recommend checking it out if you're looking at any other Apple bands in the future.

I was considering Nomad, but then I saw 1-2 star reviews on Amazon with defective band connectors or loose connection to the watch and I dropped the idea. It is too expensive for me to take the risk unfortunately.
When you measured your wrist size you could’ve also informed about the strap size which you’ve bought. It would’ve been much easier for reference to others
I bought the large titanium Milanese loop because I didn’t know my wrist size and guessed (I should have gotten medium) but the plus side is the clasp is on the side of my wrist so I don’t have the issue with it possibly scratching when I rest my wrist on stuff. Also it doesn’t pull arm hair like the stainless steel does
@ I wrote that wrong, I’m actually glad I got large but based on my wrist size, had I actually measured I would have ordered a medium based on what the Apple Store sizing guide says lol
bought the Nike Sportband to my UW2 in Desert stone colour. Same band i used the most on my previous apple watch, and undoubtedly my favourite band, especially as a gym rat
For the Alpine loop which size did you use?! My hand is 180mm and I’m planning to get the large but I’m worried it’ll scratch the surface like you’ve shown here… please let me know .. TIA 😊
Great video - very informative! I bought a couple of trail loops when I got my Ultra 2 back in the summer. Sad to say, they didn’t agree with my skin at all: I started getting that unpleasant rash, or burn, or whatever it is (opinion seems to be divided) on my wrist, so badly I was seriously considering giving up the watch altogether. In the end I switched back to my Nike band and literally within hours the rash had cleared up and I’ve had no trouble since. The ocean band would probably work for me too. Think I’ll skip the Hermes though 😊
@@ShervinSharesI’m sure it was. It’s a rare day I don’t have my hands and wrists in water, if only briefly, and even though the trail loops dry pretty quickly the dampness must persist for an hour or two.
great video and showcase! love the all-black look of the black trail loop and black ocean band. how do you like the black Ti AWU now having it for some weeks vs the og natural Ti? which color do you prefer? ofc, u had the natural now for 2yrs, so the black probably feels more fresh for now
Hej Shervin! Try the Solo loop band; I use it for running & swimming but use the Trail loop band for everything else (typically). If you get the Solo loop band make sure get the wide one (46mm). I use the black Solo loop band on my Black Watch Ultra 2. Thanks for sharing. Greg
Thank goodness I picked natural titanium. I knew that these watches are prone to scratches and having a colored watch won't help dealing with scratches
On the contrary the black with the DLC coating is more scratch proof. I’ve been using for over a month now and it hasn’t scratched at all. I’ve bumped it against walls and doors
I have a question, does the titanium milanese scratch the black ultra? I had the milanese strap in my stainless steel series 7 and it scratched the hell out of it!
I wore the Titanium black metal band from Nomad. $250 for that band. Sad to say but Nomad does not stand behind their product. The CEO snet me a questionaire about wearing thier product and I replied with the issue I had with the finish wearing off and the magnets getting weak over time and that the watch had come undone on it own on two seperate occassions. I was ghosted. I heard nothing back. That says alot to me.
Buying a Hermes Apple Watch is the greatest clown move ever man. You couldn’t convince me otherwise. Spending $1k on something worth $500 in 2 months, poor money management
No thanks I refuse to pay apple bands for that price Amazon half the price multiple bands ✅ Take your pick spend more for less or spend less for lots more Final note yes the oem bands do last longer but for the same price you get tons of colours multiple bands 😅 Both pros and cons
How’s nomad rocky point vs apple ocean band ??? In regards to feel , weight , material used , ease of use and durability & appeal on ultra 2 ???? Thanks in advance
@@rajan4334 it’s 5g heavier. Just as easy to fasten, IMO. Durability: my early guess is that they’re comparable. Nomad a wee bit bulkier due the style of buckle, hardware, and the doubling of the strap under the wrist. Still very comfortable. I took it swimming and it was just as good in the water and dried quickly. Nomad breathed as well or better while sweating on my run. Quite pleased with the purchase. Great second band.

this band has stayed my favorite too! looks good & performs well in sports situations

The Alpine Loop is the only Ultra band that feels like it’s worth anything near $100.
There is no logical reason that Hermes band should cost anywhere near that much

Sure there is. It's an Hermes.

I use Solo Loops for my Ultra 2, throughly enjoy those. Both silicone and braided, can’t go wrong!
I love the Ocean band. I do the same as you; tighten it up 1 notch for working out to get better ❤ rate info, then loosen it 1 notch for casual wear.
Nike band for working out and swimming, trail loop for everyday tasks. That’s the best for me using the aw10
That sounds like a great set up!

Do you plan on reviewing the Amazfit Trex3?

The ocean band is uncomfortable to me, especially sleep tracking and notch fitting. Trail loop master race.
great vid
I have a question, does the titanium milanese scratch the black ultra? I had the milanese strap in my stainless steel series 7 and it scratched the hell out of it!
They’re both titanium so less likely! I have a video showcasing durability on the titanium band + watch in description!
