@Det.johnkimble yeah I’m sure there is some great profit margin on it. Doubt that much. I am sure the connector and fabric use are a bit higher quality then the once the others use.
Dude I have been wanting the blue trail loop one but man even at $15 my woman would be so pissed. Think I’m going to just order it. But is it worth the hell I’ll have to pay? I don’t know.
I have the knockoff and have no issues. Yea it gets caught when trying to take it on and off and can some stitching fraying a little. But I’ve been wearing it daily for over a month. I’m sure apple quality is much better but $100 better? I think I’ll just stick with the knockoff and if have to replace every 6 months, still a better deal.
Nice. Yeah that’s my thoughts on it all as well. I usually gear more towards apple bands than knock-offs. But these are so close to the quality and for so much less. I just can’t justify it.
I’ve been able to compare the real band and a decent fake and there isn’t any comparison when you examine them really closely. For an $800 watch, is it really worth a cheap band? You get a band with the watch anyway, so paying $100 for an Ocean Band and getting a free Trail Loop makes sense to me. If you wear a fake $50 Apple Ultra, then paying a few dollars for a band on Amazon or eBay makes sense. If you can afford the genuine watch, you can afford the genuine band!
Yeah in most cases with the knockoff you’re going to get a stainless steel lug that’s been colors to match the titanium as close as possible. That’s really the only drawback. So it’s a personal preference on if it’s worth the extra cost or not.
Okay, what if you own an SE2? Braided solo loop is still a hundred bucks, at least in Europe, whereas the whole watch is around 250 (that’s what I paid for 44mm new one). It’s ridiculous.
Having a very expensive device, to then use with poor quality Chinese products. Something is wrong, in my opinion. There is certainly the convenience effect, but the quality is incomparable. When you have products of a certain quality, you don't have to be stingy. Personal opinion🙌🏻
Were they these 3 bands? Mine have still been holding up great. It is true that the Apple ones are def built to last years but the process tag that can come with it is a bit hard to get more than one.
In order to surprise some of you guys here, these bands only cost less than 1 buck in China through Aliexpress.
And probably cost Apple 2.50

Great video! Any recommendations for 3rd party ocean and alpine bands??
Thanks man. I’ve only tried one 3rd party alpine loop so far and wasn’t a fan. Hoping to try more soon.
I have all, if your a swimmer, ocean diver, ect. It's perfect for the price. Worth that small money.

And your link doesn’t work no more.
Yeah probably not worth it if your woman wouldn’t be happy. But Temu has it for like $5.50. share.temu.com/Lmsx7gWs11A
Thanks for the update on the link. I got it fixed as well.
@@TheAppleBias dang it. When I go to buy it on this link always says check your internet connection. On the temu

I just picked up a set. For that price, hard to beat.
It really is such an amazing deal. Crazy how cheap they can make them.
@@TheAppleBias it sure is. Crazy how much Apple charges too.
Yep. They have definitely learned how to make people pay way too much for stuff.
Does the apple trail loop look good on the 45mm series 9?
My son wears it on his. He has a rhino shield case on it too so your don’t see the connector
I have a couple cases but just wanted to see what it looks like I can’t really find any pictures or videos of it on the series 9
And is the rhinoshield case good I ordered it 2days ago actually lol
@@dillon599 reach out to me on instagram I’m theapplebias over there and I can show you what it looks like on the stainless series 8.
Will do thanks
This guy is hella excited in saving money
Thanks yeah it’s insane how close to the originals these are.
Who wouldn’t be lmao
@davidvaillancourt that’s what thought.

😂 nope keep the 3rd party. Bought the AWU with the black/gray trail loop. Bought the other colors from Amazon. Save your $
Fully agree with you there. The price for material and quality just isn’t there. If they were $50 each. I would just buy all the apple ones.
The knock offs are horrible! Tried many and gave them all away. Primarily because of the hinge, it’s very badly finished and looks cheap. Never again.

The original use titanium and when you look it close enough you know the difference
yeah but you gotta really look for it. and some are nearly identical
im using it not big diff in quality, but the price are... lol
Yeah it’s crazy how cheap you can buy these 3rd part ones.
$800 Watch with $1 band 💀
They are still holding up really well after all this time.
I’d rather use a genuine band because the watch cost so much. Why cheapen it with a knock off band
I'd pay $30 for a genuine Apple one. $99 is stupid. But that's justified since the Ultra is like $800 + tax. It creates a sense of premium feel
Yep. Apple is the master at doing that.
Okay, what if you own an SE2? Braided solo loop is still a hundred bucks, at least in Europe, whereas the whole watch is around 250 (that’s what I paid for 44mm new one).

40% off right now, got all 3 for $8 lol
Nice!
Only checking this as eBay has loads of fakes on it. Ty for the review. I don’t see the point getting a fake if you paid £800 for the watch

I see your point. But also there is such a massive markup on the bands Apple sells. So far these have held up really well.
The thing is the chinese banda are not poor quality
iphones are made in china......
Remind me again where your iPhone is assembled? 😂
I bought 3 bands from Amazon and they’re pretty crappy after a few weeks. Apple bands are better that’s why they charge you so much
Were they these 3 bands? Mine have still been holding up great. It is true that the Apple ones are def built to last years but the process tag that can come with it is a bit hard to get more than one.
The Amazon Trail Loop Band for $10 easily rivals the identical band gouged by Apple for $100.
Yeah there are a few things that are better with apples. But it’s so minimal.
