    I have used natural cycles for years and it works great! I wasn’t consistent at taking my temperature with the thermometer since being a mom with so many night wakings and lots on my plate so I got an oura ring and it’s so much more convenient and I don’t have to think about it (so nice when you already have enough to think about being a mom)! It’s an investment but it’s worth it to me!

    Happy belated 28th birthday! I loved being 28! I hope you will too. Your postpartum has returned so fast already! I am over a year and still working it off, and with my kids I had in my twenties it took 6-9 months. Great job! I do think that you got your period back is why your post partum belly has been returning faster. A good period helps regulate a body better. I got my period back 4 months postpartum with my first two and so that is why it took only a few months for me to get back. With this last one, it took 11 months to come back which was crazy and so I have only had two cycles and NOW I am seeing changes happening in my body even though I eat healthy foods, don't overeat, and workout constantly. I am sorry you got your period back after 6 weeks though. That would be sad. It is nice to get a break from a period for a few months, at least.

    I love my oura ring so much! I was using it for about a year before I went off birth control to conceive my son and it did an amazing job during those few months (compared to Ovia and ovulation tests). I haven’t been using it postpartum to track as I’m trying an IUD right now. But it is very comfortable to wear and sleep in and the app is very user friendly.

    I have really loved using the Marquette method for fertility awareness! It uses the Clearblue fertility monitor and charting. I learned the method with an instructor through Vitae Fertility but there are multiple other platforms to find an instructor. As another mom who has gotten her cycle back early after both pregnancies, I have so much trust in this method of natural family planning 😊. Good luck!

People keep telling me it’s not my period that it is still part of the postpartum lochia but I stopped bleeding around 3/4 weeks this time around so I find it hard to believe the lochia stops for 3 weeks and then starts like a period all over again. Idk postpartum is so confusing for me. I’m trying to chart but I don’t temp and have also been looking into a device. I am thinking about getting the copper iud with no hormones but I can’t get into my Dr until next month. So here’s to hoping I can track correctly 😂

    We use Couple to Couple League NFP for cycle charting (which is the Sympto-Thermal Method of charting). Wow, six or seven weeks postpartum is really quick for your cycle to come back. Mine typically doesn't come back until closer to 10 or 12 months, taking a cycle or two to regulate before I've gotten pregnant again. I was reading about Exclusively Breastfeeding vs Ecological Breastfeeding. I've wondered if the later leads to more of a delayed return to one's cycle (as that has been my experience), but women's bodies can be so different. I'd be curious if you've heard of Ecological Breastfeeding and if that fits your style of your breastfeeding journey?

    I do the Marquette method after my second. I was scared about the cost but I’m regular and it isn’t as expansive as I thought ( need to buy a box of stock every 3ish months and buy cheapies ovulation strips to cross check it if a day malfunctions on an expansive sticks.) I would get an instructor even though if you are use to tracking most of the rules you will pick up or get easily. The monitor you can find second hand or a lot of people just give them to you a lot of times. piece of mind and very little rules compared to other methods is worth spending and budgeting out for. Love your videos you are such a good momma ❤

  • @amysingh4
    @amysingh4 10 дней назад +1

    The fertility awareness method I use is the Billings Ovulation Method. It has to be learned with an instructor but I understand my body sooo much better with this method, and it’s one of the most effective ones out there (lots of studies backing it up!) It doesn’t require any gadgets either which makes it super affordable; just tracking your body’s sensations. I’ve also heard really good things about Symptopro if you want to take your temperature. I didn’t pick that one because it’s not as great for postpartum, but since you get your period back early it could be a good option for you. In general, I’m a fan of spending money on an instructor rather than on tech (though Billings instructors in BC are free, which is amazing!)

    Am I confusing you with sb or didn't you say you had endometriosis? If you do, you shouldn't have your period like, EVER unless you are actively trying to conceive. Then you need to to take dienogest or at least the minipill to prevent it from spreading too much.
