Hi Aysenur. I hope you are all well. After watching your video, you inspired us to make this manti for dinner this evening. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Thank you for sharing this. I enjoy your videos. You always seem so genuine and natural in explaining the food and culture of Turkey. I fascinating people with thousands of years of culture. Americans can learn a lot from your shares :)
Yours is my favorite cooking show on RUclips. We had a short visit to Turkey while on a cruise. We loved the wonderful fresh food and I've enjoyed making your recipes.
Watching in Canada. From Pakistan origially. only heard and had manti from Afghanistan restaurants. deicious. This looks equally appetizing. cant wait to try. Thank you for sharing. Afiyet Olsun
Lovely and nutritious recipe! Just love the way you handle the pastry! Thank you for sharing with us! God Bless your hands and have a good evening. Love and best wishes from Malta ❤️❤️😘🌹🇲🇹
My mom used to make this , so i keep this tradition going..but i use chinese won ton square sheets that you can buy at any store, cut them into 4 pieces add the meat then in the over......it's SOOOOOO good especially yogurt and garlic powder mixed and laid on top after coming out of the oven....oh and it's totally delish cold the next day from the frig...
I was in Turkey last week for the first time. I ate manti in Turkish airways business lounge. I was searching for the authentic recipe and I am going to try. I will might buy dough from Italian Market. And I think the taste of the yogurt was close to the taste of sour cream available in Canada. Love the background Azan. Wonder which part of Turkey you are in. I just want to visit again I loved everything about Istanbul except inflation haha. Food prices were just so high hope next time when I visit it goes down. Love Türkiye 🇹🇷
Hello dear Aysenur, Hopefully, I will be making Manti this weekend. Just wondering, if there is extra manti like you have on the second tray, how to store it? Can we freeze them? or cook first then freeze? I plan to make a double batch. Many thanks in advance.
I want to visit Turkiye from UK. Can you tell me if all places serve halal food or do I need to ask? I am thinking of travelling to Istanbul for 2 days then take a plane to Marmaris to a holiday resort for 1week. I am worried that all food is not halal, I know like UK many people are not Muslim or don't follow. Thank you
Hi yes they serve halal food. We don't ask normally if they serve halal or not. But some restaurants serve alcohol and might contain not halal foods so to be sure you can ask for a halala certificate if you want for the meat they buy. I think they have to have and show if asked. especially big brands
@@TFT thank you. People assume everything will be halal. Many European meal dishes contain alcohol so unless you ask you will not know. This is a problem in some Middle East hotels especially as people think a Muslim majority country means everything is halal.
Armenians distribute these manti everywhere - like a traditional Armenian dish. And not only manti, but also sujuk, lahmanjun, dolma, baklava and many other dishes of Turkish cuisine. Such a shame
@@qfason5836 Well, the Armenians claim that the whole world stole everything from them at a time when they themselves steal from all nationalities, appropriate it and deceitfully imagine how Armenian is appropriated from Georgians, Turks, Arabs, faxes, Azerbaijanis, etc. Even Ukrainian borscht was declared Armenian. This fact suggests that Armenians appropriate from those with whom they live together and nearby. Because Armenians roam around of the world even after they were given a state and appropriated everything from settled large ethnic groups
@@qfason5836 If these dishes were Armenian, then what did they expect? When will the Turks come and give names to these dishes? Why do they call them Turkish names or simply change one letter in the name of the dish, and then deceive everyone. Is it profitable to use well-known brands?
Yes, mantı was brought by Armenian tribes when they came from Central Asia 😂😂 Everyone knows that mantı came to Anatolia through Turkic migration and Mongol invasions. Besides, mantı is what unites all Turkic people, I would say it is the dish that we can call the national dish of all Turkic countries
looks so good. can't wait to try this. dumplings rule!

Lovely recipe, i will definitely try in ramadan. What do we pair this with?? Is it a side dish??
First, you can eat a simple soup and then eat this Tepsi Manti. It's like the main dish.
I made this once. It was labor intensive but, completely worth every minute.
