Cornwall is so beautiful! We were in St. Ives in August and will return this summer. All the way from Bavaria in Germany. But it‘s worth the long journey🥰
I was so happy to see your video it put a big smile on my face, I'm so happy to see your smiling faces enjoying your beautiful country. Big Love and please say hi to Hannah and your Mum for me.
Love the vlog! The colour of the sea is just stunning 😍 Saving this video for when we visit Cornwall in the future - the walks look right up our street!
Glad you enjoyed guys!! Hope you are both well and thanks so much for stopping by. Glad to have repaid some of your epic tips for all over the UK and beyond!
Hey Edith! Sure you will absolutely love it there 😍 weather definitely seems to be improving so I'm optimistic for you! Hope you have the best time, weather, and pasties!!!!
When I went to Cornwall, I went to Port Isaac, a very informative video man, plenty of information about the places in Cornwall. Keep it up man 👍🏼💯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯💯👍🏼👍🏼
Great top ten Loz your right when the sun is out Cornwall is like heaven a truly beautiful place ☀️ You Hannah made a great call Chippy beach sunset 👍🤠 Hope your both well Best regards Simon 🤠🙏🏼
That's it, the water is amazing there!!! Chippy dinner on the beach with a sunset is hard to beat right?! We are doing well thank you, very very well indeed. How about you and the family? Sending you our very best!
Fab video was down there in March with my parents round St Austell, Fowey, Charlestown, Mevagissey and for the first time Truro and Porthleven too it was very very rainy though only had one dry day the whole two weeks was great despite that!😂😅🙈
Thank you so much Eve! Hope you and your family are well 😁 glad you had a great time despite the typically British weather. It's a beautiful part of the country for sure... let's hope next time you get more sunny days though!
Thanks so much 🙏 these shots were all in May and it wasn’t super warm but think it would be better in September. Probably more likely to rain though! Although you would find it a lot less busy after the school summer holidays I’m sure 😊
Thanks Bella! That spot is just a short hike up out of Port Isaac - I *think* this is the exact location: maps.app.goo.gl/wR9EWJghinMGY5gGA?g_st=ic - if it’s not there then it’s very close! Hope you have an absolutely brilliant trip!
Thank you so much Loz! I've added this spot to my list :) I've binge watching your videos haha. They are incredibly beautiful and informative. Thank you for sharing amazing contents 😊
Hi.. thanks for the video.. can you pls list these places in the order of drivable proximity to organise 3days tour . Suggestions on stays ?? Am going first time no nothing this helps..
We stayed on the Clowance Estate which was pretty central to most of the things on this list. In three days I don't think you would comfortably see everything on this list but you could do at least two in a day. Might be best to miss Land's End as it's quite far!
Hi, thanks for sharing. Could you please let me know where did you stay, the name and address of the lodge and how to book? as I'm planning a road trip to Cornwall in September. Thanks in advance
Hey! Thanks for watching :) we were lucky and super grateful that Han's parents have a timeshare style arrangement that they gifted for us to use while we were there. We stayed on Clowance Estate (www.hoseasons.co.uk/accom/clowance-cloe). Let us know if you book and what you're planning to do 😁
@@LozsLeisure many thanks for your reply, however something went wrong with the link! Please let me know the address where you stayed and is it Holiday Park, Lodge or Cottage?
Because you don't mention it on your video so it won't be full of emits because you're given away all the nice spots for us locals to enjoy. Plus it has all the tasty Cornish maids @@LozsLeisure
Haha no we stayed in a lodge and cooked some meals and ate others out. Due to covid restaurants were only open for outdoor eating so we ended up cooking more than we probably would have done otherwise! Thanks for watching :)
By car - I think it would be a bit more difficult to get everywhere with just public transport. Although for St. Ives, parking up and going on the train was probably better. Thanks for watching!
Cornwall is the most unwelcoming destination anyvwhere in the UK in my opinion. Their tourist board 3 years ago asked people to stay away and when I have visited there I got the impression that visitors were decidedly unwelcome. I will never go there again. Who wants to go where you are not wanted. Give them what they want and remove their tourist income, that is what I am going to do.
I understand that it can get very busy there and people don't necessarily want it to be "overrun" but I guess this is a delicate balancing act... I did get a comment (perhaps on this video) saying I should "get the f out of their country", I assume from a Cornish nationalist. Having said that, the overwhelming of people we met were very friendly towards us and we had a brilliant time! How were you made to feel unwelcome?
As a resident of Cornwall it is always hectic mid July to end of August. Outside of that time, it is lovely as most people breathe a sigh of relief. The crowds abate and it is easier to get around. The tourist industry is essential to the local economy. If people took heed and departed, many in Cornwall would not be able to eat or put shoes on their children’s feet. Cornwall has a distinct identity like Yorkshire, Merseyside, Norfolk or Cumbria to name a few. However, anyone who spouts nationalism are speaking purely for themselves. In my view they are parochial, laughable ignoramuses...
Good, stay away. We've had enough of you all mass coming down here and ruining our summers clogging up our roads and treating the natives and our land with little to no respect whilst shouting how you all 'love Cornwall'. We have every right to be unwelcoming. I suggest you look at how the English have treated Kernow and the natives for the past x hundreds of years. They tried to kill our native language, tried to destroy our Celtic culture and have (illegally) called us a part of them. If people actually had respect for us and our lands, we'd be more receptive, but that's rarely the case.
That's only really in the west of Cornwall,no other part.As long as outsiders don't try to change Cornwall,or have property there which is empty for most of the year, the Cornish are very welcoming.
