  • This is another ambient jam with the Ovum and Wingie but it includes some VST instrument friends too!
Regular viewers may notice a very slight layout change. This has allowed a bit more space for the desktop type instruments.
The Oxi One is sequencing everything and it originates from a pattern I initially programmed on the Roland J6 chord synth. The pattern was then recorded into the Oxi One which then sends the note information to the VST instruments and the Moog Matriarch.
The Oxi One has several sequences running, one of which is in Matriceal mode. This is triggering the Kelvgrand Speldosa and a Dulcitone patch. A gate trigger is sent out from the Oxi whenever the Matriceal sequencer activates which in turn triggers the envelopes of the Matriarch.
The Matriarch is playing an arpeggio pattern constantly but the intermittent gate trigger is what makes it fade in and out randomly.
The Oxi is also sending the note information into Harmony Bloom VST which is then triggering Choreographs from Slate + Ash.This is providing the main pad sound you hear.
The voices are from Sonora Cinematic's Aria Vocalscapes instrument and these are following a basic chord progression derived from the arpeggio pattern.
The Ovum drone output goes straight into the Wingie Resonator which then goes onto my trusty Specular Tempus Reverb and PolyMoon delay.
An audio output from the mixer is also being sent to the iPad which is running the Staella visualisation app.
Feel free to ask any questions about this particular setup. I always do my best to respond to any comments as soon as possible.
