Paso Robles is pronounced as it's Spanish origins intended. Not some snobs interpretation. Two great Cabs from Paso Robles J. Lohr 2017 and Daou 2018. New to your channel. I like 👍
I have a new one for you Emercy wines they have a new cab that’s not jammy . Grapes were intentionally picked early good acidity lighter body but still complex tasty.
@@toddvino I only drink the high end stuff from Daou. For everyday, I usually mix it up and try new stuff. Sangiovese, Rioja and Cabs from Cali, not Napa. PASO is definitely my fave value region. I will give your recommendation a try
Great video. Watching Todd is like sitting with a friend; a truly knowledgeable wine friend but nonetheless a wine friend.
Justin cabarnet is delicious. From Paso Robles too.

Anything from daou is great. But 2018 is not the greatest year. 2015 and 2016 is superb. Justin and treanna by austin hope also good cabs.
@@gozer825 Now that you mention it, they may have been 2016 vintage. Will check out J&T. Thanks

Austin Hope Cabernet is the best from Paso. The west side has some elegant Rhône blends
If by best you mean the sweetest, then probably so.
Good content but just keep in mind I shouldn't have to turn down my volume for the intro then turn up my volume for the content.
GREAT VIDEO
Daou!!!
Daou used to make a good entry level cab. Overproduced crap at this point. Their higher end stuff is legit.
@@toddvino that’s all I drink
@@BigGfromgrouphome Time to switch-up the Hroup Home’s house wine! Try Maddalena from the same area.

Great Vid! Do you decant your 20 dollar wines? If so for how long.
Really enjoy Todd’s reviews, both in delivery and knowledge . Committed subscriber!
