    07:53 - that is pretty much what Eddie George said to Derrick Henry, when the latter called the former for advice during his lackluster first season plus. THis was after a week 7 loss to the Chargers. HIs YAC doubled the next game (where he was basically backing up Dion Lewis). A month later came his breakout game vs. JAX: 238 and 4 on 17 carries - including his now-legendary 99-yard run. He's been beasting ever since.
    Maybe someone can hook Fournette up with Maurice Jones-Drew or Mike Alstott for a similar pep talk?

He ran a 4.31 unassisted, in sneakers at a football camp in front of some pretty notable college coaches. One year he came second in front of johnathon Baldwin. He ended up taking a full ride to a major university, and never made it to the olympics, because in his own words”dude I’m slow as fuck compared to these guys.”

    I think a lot of RBs aren’t booming like before because of the trend of having running back by committee becoming more and more popular with teams such as the Niners, Bucs last year, Eagle among others

    • @thecensoredmuscle563

      Maybe also schemes. Because of the rules you have to have schemes that make it less likely for a db or linebacker to lay a receiver out. So they depend alot of linebackers on runs, and as for dbs playing a million yards back. So you get stuffed more, and if you break one you have dbs a million yards back waiting for you If you have an oline that opens up massive holes every play like titans, than it will be easier like it always was. Now for qbs, it's alot easier, and if you have a decent pass blocking oline like cowboys oline (except last year after game 5 as they were all injured after that but one game), then playing qb is extremely easy. Simple high school level passes the entire game easy.

    KTO. You are insane. Read my mind. I was literally thinking today, KTO should probably make a fournette video. I was thinking the same thing earlier today but then realized what he did in the playoffs and he does have a ring

    He's a Superbowl champion, was an instrumental part of the Bucs playoff run. And just rambled off almost 100 yards last night on a rain soaked night in New England. I'd say he's doing pretty well for himself.

      Yeah, 1200 scrimmage yards and he had to split time with jones. Fournette is FAR from a bust, and is in the upper echelon of backs in the league.

      @@Bravetrain13 no he isn’t he didn’t have 1000+ rushing yards yards and only had 8 tds. He was a solid multipurpose back but no top 3 in the league bs. I didn’t say he was trash, all I said was he is not in the top echelon of backs, that is reserved for backs like Henry and Taylor.

    • @Bravetrain13
      @Bravetrain13 2 года назад

      @@michaeljordansgrandchild8976 nah he's definitely in the top echelon. You're punishing him for being with Brady in an extremely pass heavy offense. Henry is in a league of his own. But I'd take Fournette over Taylor. Are you a colts fan lol
