A fire place would be nice in your space in the bedroom or you could display your quilts or store your blankets. Little Levi is so precious, he is growing so fast. Put your dresser in that area and then below your tv you can add a nice fireplace. Make it a feature on that wall and hang you tv on the wall above it with a nice mantel. That would look fantastic. Add some side shelves for more storage
Maybe in the shelf area you could do memories. I noticed you had a memory bin, that way you can see them & put a smile on your faces everyday when you look at it. 😊🤷❤

This episode made me miss my paternal grandmother. She used to make sweet and sour pickles (so delicious!). She did a lot of canning before she got sick and passed away a little over a year ago.

I would make the office space in your bedroom into a reading nook with a built in bench seat at the bottom topped off with a cushion for comfort. And then I would leave the shelves above and add books to them for your own personal library. And you can add some decor items onto the shelves as well for some visual interest.
I truly enjoyed this video. It relaxes me and inspires me to declutter. When we get a house, I want to keep it organized and clean, minimal maintenance. ❤
Since the bedroom can be the heart/safe space in a good marriage, and the marriage is the basis for the family, I might suggest making that space an area dedicated to items that are important to your relationship, not the family. Photos, devotionals, whatever keeps the heart in your marriage. 😊
Your bedroom office used to be a closet or shelving. What about putting in adjustable shelves, and doors on the front, and using it to store extra decor, books, shoes, purses, memory boxes, etc, and free up some other storage areas in the house. Levi is so cute, following you around!
We use those bags for our games too. My cucumbers did great this year too! I would definitely use the nook in your master bedroom as a reading nook! Put a cozy chair, a sconce on the wall, and some shelves. Kids would love it to as special reading area or read with mom/dad time.😊

We love the Good and the Beautiful! It's the best curriculum and we've tried quite a few over the years. My boys are now 14 & 16, but we still use the Language Arts for High School.

One of your saucepan handles was positioned to the edge of the range instead of toward the countertop. A small child might reach for that handle, not realizing the consequences of a horrible burn. I need to declutter our house thank you for the advice on cleaning things out like you Florida doesn't have long winter if any at all idea of using storage bind I have cloth storage bags I will see if they will work for winter stuff. It’s usually either every two weeks or we do have a grocery store 20ish minutes away that I’ll go to once a week sometimes :) we get our milk from our in-laws farm and the eggs come from our chicken farm, so those two things are covered. I like to shop at Costco once a month and stock up on everything so it lasts for a long time
I do declutter throughout the year little by little. I need to do some more! I love the idea of a fireplace in a Master suite. I wish we had thought of it when we built our house. I think that would be the perfect niche for it.

I think here were I live there's a homeschooling moms group (FB group of parents using the same curriculum) and they plan occasional activities bringing the children together. Do you have something like that?
Yes we have a homeschool group that we get together with sometimes, and we have a Sunday school group, and they have lots of cousins they play with every week. Also hoping to enroll them in some lessons this fall. All in all they are able to have a lot of social interactions!👍🏼 I think finding a homeschool or Sunday school group they can get together with is great, or lessons/sports would be another option

I allways keep the pan handels inwards, so my grandchildren can not reach them and get burned or spill something hot on them, so dangerous. But the handel in.
I loved this whole video, but especially the school book unboxing! My third grader was sitting with me and I had literally JUST told her that her books are being delivered today. We also use The Good and The Beautiful, so she was delighted to get a sneak peek!!!! May your school year be blessed!

Maybe close in the nook with sheet rock and make closets larger. Maybe even larger doors. Whatever you do will be great!

I'm sure you know this already but you only need a water bath canner for pickles. Pressure canners are for meats and low acid vegetables.
