Can I Break This ‘Indestructible’ Golf Trolley?

- Stewart Golf say their new Vertex trolley is indestructible thanks to new active terrain control technology. But is that the reality?
I took te Vertex trolley to Moor Allerton golf club, the hilliest course in Yorkshire for some cross country golf to see how the trolley fares on all terrains or surfaces. If it will flip and if it is breakable?

Hi, I'm Hannah Holden; welcome to my channel!
I am a +2 golfer from Leeds, England.
This RUclips channel aims to help you improve your golf by offering up-to-date reviews on the latest golf equipment, stats on how scratch golfers shoot low scores, and course vlogs to help improve your course management.
I also partner with PGA Golf Professionals such as @jrbackhousegolf to bring you tips to improve your golf game.
If that wasn't enough I'll make sure you're on top of the latest rules of golf!
One of my playing partners has this cart. Works very nicely. Too expensive for me. My friend with the trolling was only stopped when someone ran over the trolley with his motor cart… 🤣
@@rickmaag5024 oh god 😂
Good fun video, even the camera man was laughing at one point.
The idea of an app to check the battery is a great idea.
“It’s impossible to tip this over” That quick grin after you said that screamed “Challenge accepted!” 😂😂

Play Stocksbridge...the ultimate workout for you and the trolley 🎉
Great trolley, but I still prefer the non remote versions. My steering is iffy, so remote would be awkward. This trolley is the same price as the clubs I just bought and also the same price as a year's 7 day membership at our course.....! I'll take the rain-check, Hannah!
You can see from the over head video you provided that the course in the video is among the few that welcome cross country golf. Most courses have too much hole separation to enable this type of format.
Here in the States many course locations were selected specifically to sell on-course home lots. Usually these courses are absent the ability to accommodate the cross-country style format.
Gm Hannah, you're super cute in this video as well...

I have this trolley and the first one I had did break but was immediately replaced by Stewart’s. Their customer service is excellent. You have to charge the remote as well and it can only be operated by the remote- there is no control on the trolley and I find this a bugbear as each time you start the trolley you have to press the forward button several times to get the desired speed. Where as my previous motocaddy remote had a control button that set the speed between 1&9 and it started at the required speed. Also I would agree that it is heavy
Hi Patrick, the buttons on your handset '1', '2', & '3' are Cruise Control buttons, which you can pre-set to your desired walking speeds. This way you won't need to press the forward button several times to get the trolley up to your desired speed. Hopefully this helps!
You said you liked your Q Follow, but I bet you don’t play with others with a Q Follow too, because they INTERFERE with each other in the follow mode. I play in Harrogate and my partner was impressed enough to buy one too. But now we both have Q Follows frustratingly we cannot now use the follow function. This is my 2nd Follow model, I can only hope Stewart solve this Follow Interference issue first their next incarnation!
It must be a huge improvement on the Stewart Q-Follow trolley that I have, that one is really easy to break.
I have a Zip Navigator. You really have to be careful about sidehills, nor will it quit when it's behind. I used to tip it a lot, but the only real damage I've ever sustained was from hidden holes the front assembly would suffer. It finally broke off; I have to install a replacement and it's really beyond my ken. I'm hoping to find someone who can do it.
It definitely is,nt anti tip ,I,ve had my trolley about 10 months ,it,s tipped over a few times ,not great on slopes on tees next to paths
Not the video I was expecting; I know I was naive but I was expecting Hannah smashing the trolley with a hammer 😂
@@richardlamb7791 😂😂😂😂
Nice.
At the risk of being called names, has your game improved with the weight loss? Ive put on nearly 6kilos over the last three years, despite trying not to, and my handicap has drifted from 7 to 9.
Hannah is that the trolley you used for St. Andrews ❤😊
Have got to know WHAT IS THE WHITE STUFF ON THE GREENS!!! I've seen that on other channels as well and no one has answered. South Georgia US needs to know 😂...PS great video Ma'am.
@@allenparker2690 it’s a marker they use to show which strips they have applied fertiliser on so they don’t cover areas twice!
@hannahholdenNCG Awesome. Maybe I just don't play fancy enough course here in South Georgia lol. Something I've been wondering. Thank you for the information. Also, thank you for what do I Love the channel.
That remote is huge. I understand its nice to have all those features, but that is a pretty large remote to carry around in your pocket
To be fair, you do not put it ‘in’ your pocket, clip it instead to your back pocket. It’s absolutely fine.
@@ahastar1141 you clip it to your belt or trolley, it’s really light and a good size for holding
Can it find your ball for you that would make it useful for me 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 that would be useful
Do I really need to get a teen golf set for being 5ft 3?
👍👍
Call that a test, you did at least go through a bit of rough but not into a bunker? The pro rider trolley could do all your test with ease. A third of the cost but I think there are out of business now. Nice golf , good luck on that match .
Impressive, but, nothing is tip proof, not even golfers on foot, 😂
It’s an impressive piece of kit but I don’t think I could be ar*ed ! It would take more energy for me concentrating on what it was doing than if I just had my hand on the handle. That aside, what was that white stuff on the green ?
It’s actually really easy to use. I would say it takes about 9 holes to get used to it.
White stuff, they were fertilising the greens they use that to mark the edges of where has been done so they don’t overlap the sprays
Believe me, it’s FAR more painful guiding a trolley with your hand always on the grip, but you need to experience it to understand that 😊
A friend has a Stewart trolly and it’s in for repair more than being used.
Why, what’s he doing to it?
Hannah, stop doing gbh on your trolley, or you will have to carry your own bag. P.S As an ex caddie that caddied for his mate in the 1998 Open at Royal Birkdale I’ve every confidence you possess the skill sets to go pro and flourish🏌️♀️🏌️♀️🏌️♀️
