    Works great as long as you have the remote. If you forget, loose or forgot to charge the remote you are done. In my case the remote was defect and I had to send it to the dealer. It took 2 months until i got it back. During that time without the remote the trolly was useless. It is really annoying that you can't use the trolly without the remote.

      Yes you are correct 😞 That sucks you were without it for so long.

    If I'm not mistaken you can set the "driving" speeds as well. Eg when using the remote to drive it, there are two different speeds available, and both are adjustable, so you can tailor to your own walking speed. My brother has one, and I tried it for a round, makes me want to start walking the courses around here !

      Yes you are right. It took me a couple rounds to get this set up but it’s another great feature.

    Owned it for a week and worked great although sent it back as the battery got stuck in the cart. Was the problem resolved?

    I have owned my Stewart Golf X10 Follow (basically the earlier version of the Q) for almost 7 years. Been very reliable.
    Biggest issue is the fact you cannot operate without the remote. Also while it is cool that the remote is rechargeable it also means that you cannot simply carry a spare battery around in case it runs out of juice. I know this from personal experience. Sometimes our backshop guys/gals forget to recharge my remote and it has died. This mean you have to manually pull out the drive wheels to freewheel mode and then push it. There is no other way.
    The other complaint I have is you cannot use a carry bag and this is not just because the carry bag's stand will activate (you can stop this with straps that most carry bags come with) but it is because the hinge of the carry bag cannot rest on the top stand without it moving around.
    I am seriously considering getting the Axglo E5. It seems to address both of these issues. I got into this video because of your review on the Axglo.
    But I cannot complain about getting over 6 full years of use of out this cart (I play on average 70 to 100 rounds per year).

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  8 месяцев назад

      The more I use it. I would have to agree. I wish it had controls on the unit itself.
      The axglo is a good unit too. The range is not as good with the remote but the follow mode is really good. You can fit different types of bags better on the axglo. Can't comment on long term durability as it's still a newer brand but so far so good.
      For the price, it's a good option imo.

    I use a medium-weight stand bag (Vessel). Even though a cart bag is recommended, how do you think the Q would perform? Obviously, bag legs would need to be secured using the bag's velcro strap provided. Also, what are your thoughts on the silicone bag strap? Cliq has gone to the silicone format and not all notches keep bag secure.

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  2 года назад +1

      Funny enough I just put my vessel stand bag on it and overall it did pretty good. The stand legs at the top of the bag don’t sit flush with the cart but you can strap it in tight enough it won’t move a ton.

    • @judyaltschuler2845
      @judyaltschuler2845 2 года назад

      @@NewNineGolf Do you think the clic gear 'caddy' attachment could be used with the QF to keep secure and craddle the Vessel stand bag? Stewart has a refurb promo at the moment that makes this investment more appealing. only has a 12 mo warranty v 24 month; any further thoughts about that? TIA

    It is unfortunate that he is either biased or too excited owning one as it is new in his experience and has not tried other brands.
    here is my honest review after owning a x9 for 2 years:
    the follow function is indeed unique but you end up using it a fraction of time.
    noisy when in function.
    very heavy and bulky compared to competitors.
    front wheel does not rotate resulting to jerky turns and fast wear and tear of front wheels..
    umbrella holder that you have to buy separately mounts in one of the ball holder holes, it is flimsy with a little wind under your umbrella, the hole handle and holder will break apart, hence i never dare to use it.
    plastic used on the overall machine looks and feels cheap while you pay premium price.
    movements are jerky. don't expect finesse.
    remote control is bulky big and looks like a 90's cellphone. the buttons will wear off fast and you will end up feeling your thumb after your round.
    around greens , if there are small heels ( usually are) the connection will be lost.
    Motors are bare on left and right side behind rear wheels with a none reenforced connection to gearbox resulting to vulnerability. in my case, the right side motor broke and fell during trip to the course in the car. repair took 7 months.
    Customer service is lagging behind.
    Paying 2.2k euro, and fetching the most expensive one in the market, one expect more quality. I guess i fell victim of the same marketing as here.
    My point, go and check it out and play a round with one before you pay top dollar for it.
    I already know which one will be my next purchase and it is not SG.
    ali

      @@NewNineGolf i anime your enthusiasm and like your channel however, unfortunately both are mounted on same technology. i have had one as replacement for a month when mine was under repair, note mine was repaired after 7 months and only after lots of complaint and writing i got the last month a replacement before i got my own.given that it folds better and takes less trunk space and has an app showing the level of juice in battery, rest is identical. so you can say that i had an opportunity to test both. i also

    i was just wondering in follow mode. How do you approach the bag to pull a club and take a shot?

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  Год назад +1

      There’s a distance around the bag once you approach it where it won’t move. Once you start walking ahead of it it will follow again.

    They ar the most annoying thing on a golf course, I played a few times with guys that have them and they ar like kids with a remote control car, while I'm putting on the green you have some 40 year old whizzing a trolley over and back trying to get it to the next tee box before they even putt and before they get off the green.

    • @knotthead17

      very erratic motion especially on concrete*
      Can't charge the battery while still attached
      Don't know the battery level without using app (which is terrible)
      Smaller remote with bigger buttons with better feedback
      Longer range on the remote (maybe mine is bad?)
      When the bluetooth button is accidentally clicked it instantly unpairs from cart, (you can't pair again unless you are right next to it)
      Ability to unfold top half of handle when bottom part is also unfolded so it doesn’t get locked in place without access to lower fold button (less of an issue if battery doesn’t need to be removed to charge) but still shouldn't happen
