Pitch mark repairer in my mind should be as essential as clubs and balls if you want to play the game. You really shouldn't be allowed on the course without one.
And in relation to that, golfers should learn how to repair a pitch mark properly, I see so many that actually do more damage to the green by just lifting the ground straight up instead of pulling in from both sides
That "strain" you feel carrying your clubs is aka "load bearing exercise" which is important as you get older. So I am holding off on buying that trolley/cart gadget for as long as possible.
You need to get a "boot buddy" on that list. Its a brush with a water vessel attached to it, it's obviously designed for cleaning your shoes, which it does great, but the secondary use is even better... Use it for cleaning your clubs and grooves... Every golfer should have one of these in your bag.
I couldn't believe the difference a range finder made to my game. Instantly started hitting it closer to the pin. I find the navis good for a general picture. But range finder let's you know exactly the distance when you can't tell where the pin is positioned from the fairway
The ultimate multifunctional golf trainer and very useful accessory is undoubtedly the STOW STICK. Not only does it enhance my golf skills, it also ensures the safety and organization of my golf gear while I play. I recommend keeping it in your bag, I’m glad I do…
I’ve found the amount of effort in a push trolley is pretty much the same as my carry bag. Although I have succumbed to the odd ‘ride along’ in the comps these days. Carrying for18 holes and trying to compete with guys 20 years younger who are riding was becoming a joke.
Have a question about the shot trackers that attach to the end of the clubs.. Do they take damage because they hit the bottom of your bag with the complete weight of the club on them??
I've got the shot scop v2 ones and I don't think they damage easily, unless you're smashing the top or the handle into the ground or another surface. The plastic seems to be pretty durable. Can't speak for the arcos ones but I'd assume similar.
I would suggest a "Acustrike" mat before a putting carpet. Putting can be practiced on any household carpet or on any spare putting green at a course. Personally I practice putting in my 20 foot hallway and place one toilet tissue square on the ground as to replicate the cup.
Also, I use an app on the phone that tracks everything. It has an extra step because I have to set up which club i hit and i have to track as i walk, but it costs 5 bucks
Golf really has become to much about gadgets. I still play without any rangefinders or gps. The fun part about standing at the course with your mate and discussing range to a bunker or how far it is when the tee is in the front vs the back is to great to get a gadget
...and I play as much as I like for 110 euros per season at my local everyman's club. I.e. I play 6 months for the price of a serious bar round. So yes, golf can be very inexpensive.
Had a nightmare with my 4 iron yesterday at the range trying to learn stingers and low hooks to help me get out of the trees on the left I frequently visit 😂
I have a shotscope V3 and I still think the tag detection has some way to go to be regarded as seamless... it still misses quite a few shots per round.

I disagree with you guys on the pull or elec, 3 wheel cart. most if not all of the courses by me on the Florida Suncoast give you a riding cart when you pay your greens fees. I have found out that is the case for much of the US.
I found arccos very time consuming. I loved the information that it provided but the gps on the putting green was never correct and I had to constantly fix it otherwise all the numbers would be off
@@brettharvie I think Social Golfing was thinking that very few of us have $2k for a Skytrack unit, let alone $25k for a GC Quad. I had a G80 unit, sold it after one trip to the range..

I cannot stand playing golf with people who use range/distance finders during a game. The game is about personal judgement, feel, experience, not about technology that, honestly, for the VAST majority of players, meant knack-all!! You are really going to chose a different club between 135yds and 145yds, of course you are not!!
Bro. At your age if you have shoulder or back issues so bad that you can’t push your trolley, you need to get in the gym. So yes, it’s just being lazy.

The gadget I need is talent!
That’s where I’m at right now!! 😂
Lmao. Thats great. 😄😆
practice practice practice..... you'll get it
Wouldn't think that was Kits first GM video.. great work both in making this subject informative and worth watching.

A great gadget would be a decent set of microphones, wow
This was an insightful video. Ive a whole bunch of golf carts from SWFL Golf Carts and a wide range of golf equipment. Absolutely love golf!

Thanks for this video! It gave me good info! Also maybe can give Golf Kinetics a chance to improve your game!
I play strictly old-school - without any electronic devices. Hell, getting away from electronics is one reason it's so relaxing to play!
You are broke
atta boy ,jes ...if they place 100,150 and 200 yards markers accurately..... what more does one need ?
This, may as well just play on the playstation if you go the electronic route

Just got Arccos sensors and will compile some data for a better fitting.
I don't like the yearly subscription you have to pay to use them...

My husband gave me a Golf Buddy over 10 years ago. Although it isn't as fancy as the new ones, it works really well for me.

Bucket of sand. Especially useful for those who “never take divots”. They’ll have more sand to fill all those other divots they find along the way.
but my phone can do perfectly what the gps does?
