Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so very much. I know exactly what to report to my Ortho. I've had a myriad of symptoms, and have been muddled about exactly what my issues are. You have given me such clarity after watching your video reading the transcript, rewinding a lot. I feel so much more confident now. I have lived with pain a long time. I don't like to complain about pain at all. I take scheduled Tylenol and use topical and modified my activity. It's getting beyond my ability and interferes with sleep. I've dreaded reporting uncontrolled pain. I want to find out the source to determine if it may be corrected by some treatment. I don't ever want to appear to be seeking a quick fix for pain. I have a great fear of giving the wrong impression. But after getting a plan to discuss more than "I have severe pain". Thanks again.

Glad to help. You are correct, pain alone will not qualify for disability, but pain that interferes will work-related abilities can qualify. If you have orthopedic pain, describe how it interferes with you working.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about the topic to make a good video.

Hello Doctor! to touch basis on your video in regards to dropping things i had chemo for Non-Hodgkins lymphoma/Follicular and what's worsening is the non diabetic peripheral neuropathy. My hands would constantly lose feeling/numbness pin needles to the point where it radiates up to my shoulders. Same with my feet the numbness and cold feeling runs up behind my kneecaps. As always thank you for your videos they're very insightful and knowledgeable. I submitted for SSDi so just patiently waiting to see what the results are. Thanks again for what you do 🤝👌👍

Both chemotherapy and diabetes can cause peripheral neuropathy affecting both hands and both feet. You've provided a good description of your work-related issues. That's rare! Best of luck.

That's a good idea. Speech is a major issue in Social Security Disability. I'll make a video on it - although I prefer the term "dysphasia", which means "difficulty speaking". "Aphasia" means the person cannot speak at all. I have seen three Social Security Disability patients who could not speak at all, in two it was due to bad strokes, in the third it was due to brain damage from lack of oxygen due to a cardiac arrest.

@@DisabilityExams thanks, this was more related to memory problems than speech.
