Its very apparent im in chronic pain-fluid leaking out of my back-horrible posture-implant infection-i have been in medical review for almost 2 months-first i did the evaluation then 2 days later i was summoned to do a lumbar x ray-its hard for me-im truly messed up bad-i despise people who ride the system
I just had an exam yesterday and it was over in 10 minutes. I didn’t get a chance to tell the Dr anything about how my pain affects my inability to work or do daily living. The Dr was on her phone texting and taking a personal call ( her dog was attacked at the groomers)instead of asking me about my conditions. I’m not sure what to think about this situation.
If you're correct, I would consider it an inadequate exam. It is very important the doctor determine how your pain affects your ability to work, in fact, one of the most common questions I ask when patients tell me about their conditions is "How does that affect your ability to work?" If you feel you received an inadequate exam, I recommend you contact Social Security, and ask to have another exam with a different doctor.
Thank you for what you do. For initial application, If I have supervisors letter, 2 Dr letters, & VA 100%P&T Letter, & Federal OPM approving Federal disability early retirement, should I include these with the initial application?
Yes, include them, but keep in mind - Social Security does NOT follow the determination of other organizations regarding disability. They specifically say this on their website. For example, 100% VA disability does not mean Social Security will consider the person disabled, they always make their own determination. That being said, other organizations saying a person is disabled can't hurt and may help.
❤ I love your videos. I always learn something new. Please keep creating new content.
Thanks for the information!!!
