I like clean flower doesn’t matter the size. And it’s hard to get at dispos, so better grow your own, clean organic flowers.

Being in the industry I get pitched to daily by multiple vendors from multiple farms. Both potency and value are for what you call "A" buds ( top colas). The price difference between "A" and "B" (popcorn buds) is more then you'd think .
So for commercial cannabis the customers go for the best looking, best smelling and best taste with over all affects which is almost always found from"A" buds.
As far as home, Bigger buds more yield, I've not experienced any lack of potency or taste and i try to grow nothing but big buds. Growing only smaller buds will drastically affect you're over all yield.

You think they test the small buds separately? That would be very expensive to test like this. The reason why is if you say separate you're a and b buds you then have to pay for separate tests. We don't do that. They will take multiple samples from our flower and grind it then test for what we payed for.
When we intake b buds they do not have higher anything that's a fact. Therefore the value for most smaller buds we check in is literally a quarter of the price. I've checked in hundreds of pounds in multiple dispos and this is my experience with this topic.
@@MrEiht infact i just checked in a and b buds from the same farm at the same time and the same strain and the b buds tested at 23.5% THC and the a bud at 27.6% with a big price difference.
@@MrEiht oh i see what you mean, you're saying tests show the b buds can test higher. That's interesting but I've not experienced that with our testing results.
I like popcorn lots of popcorn like 1-2g nugs is nice. SCROG net nothing but tops but they are all popcorn size!

I never get them to grow much bigger than a golf ball and that's a perfect bud size IMO.
Some of the best I've ever had has been from plants with little popcorn buds!
I get soda can size buds all over. I'm trying to do away with the popcorn nugs. They are annoying when clipping at the end harvest. Honestly they piss me off now, where i used to love it.🤷idk

What nutrients do you use
1-1.5 gram nugs always seem more dank. But when scrog or top em heavy u get those 2 gram tops compared to those 4 gram one that almost always get pm

I prefer just slightly bigger than popcorn myself. Easier to dry everything evenly without a proper setup personally.

I just experienced geting a strain for the second time and it be nothing like the first time the strain is peach crescendo first bag was great nug 1g 1.5g nugs and amazing peach smell the second time is air larfy amazing smelling and tasting bud but larfy as hell so atleast its from the same harvest

I grow four plants at a time for my personal supply. Whatever my plants decide to provide me with is fine with me. I’ll dry it and consume it. I always split any big Nugs up before putting them in Grove bags anyways. I figure that way they’ll cure more uniformly but that’s just me spewing out my own brand of bro science. Probably the biggest reason is that I like keeping the size uniform for some odd obsessive compulsive reason.
This post was obviously proof that popcorn nugs fulfill their intended purpose. I just had a bowl full and am rambling on because of it. 😂

I don't mind the little ones, especially since mine have been incredibly dense. I like quality over quantity and Chris tortures me for leaving the popcorn on but it's just as great!!!
My big buds some times end up as small buds after I break it down off the stalk.😊 Sucks when u think 1 huge bud.
I personally don't care about size flavor and potency are what I look for.

Most of my own grown ones are thumb size or bigger. Do dispensaries not have bigger buds? I mean WTF?
