what microscope and or camera are You using?? ...is it usb compatible ?..do You have a link for it .....I have bought one and had to return it because it wasnt usb compatible..
On a different note???.. My plants hermied and has a ton of seeds, what's the best way to get rid of the seeds instead of picking them one by one from the buds.?...Thanks

I have used 62 RH packs and some strains loose it's smell. I use RH meters in the jar now. If I need to lower RH I open the jar with the room AC on. If want the RH up I open the jar on a rainy day. I like the RH around 60%. Dam that's a lot of RH language

I started using molasses ! I had Sticky Bandit by Cronks and i may have went a little heavy ( followed instructions) but my bud ended up smelling like the product in the bottle. It was sickening. Molasses has been feeding my live soil and we are getting naturual terpene profiles !

Ran bud candy on 4 different plants, cured you can smell the same thing on all of them. Kinda takes away from each plant having their own distinctness. Though if you have something fruity it might be a benefit. The one of them smells like you stuck your nose into a can of fruit salad, so it kinda made that pop more. But not something I'm probably going to use again too much.

Negative I noticed after you have chopped your plants trichomes develop when drying I have seen some buds go from milky to quite a bit of amber on them and some genetics don't really change to amber
Any change in trichome color post harvest is merely oxidation. It is like what happens to a banana after being peeled or an apple after being sliced. It doesn’t produce a different effect like a true mature trichome turning amber while still in the pot.

Damn man I feel ya..I've messed up about 3 out of 8 harvests. From not drying long enough to drying too much. Some plants have more terps than others and are easier to dry than others too
I'm currently drying by using my grow tent just let the fans blow below the plants keep the carbon filter/fan on just low let my humidifier run and I got perfect Temps and RH I'm also drying in my basement with the tent to help keep Temps low I don't know if you've tried drying with the grow tent but it works
I chop whole plants and hang upside down in a room at 60-65° and 60% humidity for 16 days as a rule of thumb. I start to check skinny branches at day 12-13, though. I hand trim everything and put in Grove bags. Always great smells and terps. The types of nutrients you use will affect flavor, but I make sure to give straight water from week 6 on.
You will get there fam! Lots of it is trial and error to dial things in! I'd say try to slow your dry as much as possible and use a dedicated sealed dry tent! Fans not blowing on buds and carbon filters on lowest setting! You may need a humidifier or dehumidifier depending on your environment, or a ac unit if things are really warm
Depending on the size hang for about 12 days make sure it’s trimmed well then throw it in a groove bag for a month if that doesn’t do it then it’s genetics at that point trust me 👌

Yes I harvest too early I had Alaskan purple and northern lights kept it in a jar for like a month and light weight got the smell back

I’m asking because here in Canada, I buy gas strains (cultivar)… but they come with a pine smell. No gas at all and sometimes no smell at all.

For sure some plant process continue for a while after chop! Almost like a lizard whose tail u cut off (weird analogy I know lol)
