I'm glad it helped! We can't always have a great game, there are times when I cannot pass a single ball to save my life and that's ok. We don't always perform at 100% :)
I definitely agree! I think being such a technical game, mental and ability to stay focused play a huge role. Small lapses in concentration, being present or driven can definitely make or break players.
@@Ram-tf6gr I think the big piece is changing your perspective and having a reality check. Have a proper think around why you play and what matters most to you first. For example if it's all about performing well. You need to reflect on what happens when you don't play well. Does your life drastically change? Will your friends and family view you as less of a person. When others don't play well, do you view them as less of a person? When you see someone at the professional level who has a bad game, are they instantly written off as a "bad player" or does their career end? What consequences come from not playing well in a single game and are they life changing? When you ask yourself these questions, you understand that playing well does not define your worth as a person. We will all have moments where we're not our best and that's the reality for everyone. Once you can digest this understanding, you can be free from needing to "perform" always and trust that not paying well doesn't mean you aren't working in the right direction. As long as you know your end goal and have a plan in place then you can accept that there will be ups and downs on your journey. This is what it means to face your ego. You don't need to always perform well. You don't always have to be "better" than others. Know your journey, know your goal, know what motivates you.
I needed this message. Had a game where I couldn’t get my passing right and blamed myself and others. Time to get bac on the right track. Thanks!
