I think it would be cool if they added a sort of endless, roguelike mode where it’s just one endless cave that has randomised floors, and you just try and survive and collect as many treasures as you can for as long as you can, and you start with no pikmin, maybe they could even add a new pikmin type that’s something like: the pale pikmin, they have no immunities, no boosts or anything, they’re just used as extras
I mean, both. Plus we have the Olimar scenario alr, so a Louie scenario would be great. And the ability to change captains to any of the Outcasts. They're all functionally the same, and anybody other than the mc could use Moss instead of Oatchi
A new map is the best choice A big jumbo chango map The pikmin requirements could be all of them, so you could explore it differently everyday with different pikmin
I think orange Pikmin should be immune to explosions and be slightly immune to crushing. So, if an enemy tried to crush them, they wouldn't die, but the next time they would, and this crush immunity would reset every day that passes. But in return, they do less damage than a normal Pikmin.
My thoughts on feasability, as a developer: - New pikmin type would be unlikely, as I feel it would need to elicit some level designs that involve it's use-case. - Online multiplayer is highly unlikely; the programming time requirement increases ten-fold, especially if the mode was not programmed with online multiplayer in mind from the beginning. That said, it could be something that happens if that is their primary focus to put their time budget into. - New enemies would be very feasable. I feel like it would not require that much development time. - New difficulty modes would be VERY feasible. The programmers would just need to add new configurable values for parts of the game per difficulty option, and the designers just need to make number tweaks. - A new area would be doable, if that was their primary focus. Heck, it can coincide with new enemies and a new pikmin type so that the level design complements these new features. I'm most hopeful for a Cave/DandoriChallenge level maker and/or online sharing. By and far, it would provide a way to play the game in a new fresh way constantly, because there's so many creative ways that a level could be composed or structured with hazards, enemies, etc by the players.
So i have an idea for DLC but i feel like it won’t be true but i wish it will. So it’s going to have a new type of pikmin, Orange pikmin. These pikmin are on all fours, look spider like and they have a special ability. The ability to latch on any type of dwarf version of a creature (most likely bulborbs) and turn into bulbmin. Reasons for this is that bulbmin exists because of a parasitic pikmin, so why not let the parasitic pikmin be playable in the new dlc and have different types of bulbmin. We can have something like the Orange bulbmin who are more alert or Bear blubmin (Bulbear+Pikmin) who attack more frequently but are easily distracted. That’s my hope for the DLC. Hope yall like it.
I’ve had this idea for a while, sorry for the rant: In the base game, we get several references to the Pikmin 3 captains, but they never show up. We also have the Foolix, which is similar to the Goolix, and the Water Wraith, which are commonly believed to be previous incarnations of the Plasm Wraith, Pikmin 3’s final boss, but it isn’t in the game or referenced. Plus, the Kopai captains we DO save mention a hunger crisis coming soon. So, my theory is that they’re setting up a dlc which reimagines the events of Pikmin 3. Possibly bringing a new type or returning type of Pikmin and having the Plasm Wraith as the final boss again, thus wrapping up everything in the series for new adventures to begin. But this is just a theory… no, don’t do the bit.
1:54 It's worth considering the unused green onion and bean Pikmin. Perhaps... it wasnt unused, but rather a hint at what is to come? It would be weird for so much development to go into a type that doesn't exist. Though it's still unlikely, it's the biggest hint we have.
So the green onion was probably an early concept since they might've known that they were gonna introduce 2 new pikmin but when they made the glow pikmin then they scrapped the green onion since glow pikmin don't have an onion to go to
I would want the DLC to be nintendo adding more product placement I WANT TO VISIT A NEW AREA AND THAT AREA IS CALLED KFC.... I WANT TO EXPLORE KFC IN PIKMIN 4
Hear me out pikmin multiverse the og pikmin timeline meets the new timeline and a new wraith is the threat threatening all captains and trying to take control of all the planets to consume and all the captains and castaways must stop this and maybe we get a orange pikmin wraith type that can be summoned by taking a wraith nectar feeding it to a pikmin and it turns into a wraith pikmin however the nectar is rare and can only be acquired defeating a wraith mini boss honestly this could be DLC OR a new pikmin game idc I would just want this to happen
a DLC with nothing but online dandori battles makes this an 11/10 game. A 'Mario Maker but Pikmin' update would be amazing as well, but the game already has so much too it that I feel greedy asking for DLC.
the final cave would've been absolutely amazing as it's own area where time still passed, and was a whole massive chasm like the Forest Navel, but also acted as a bit of a bossrush. Would've been incredible to have to find the next base to set a checkpoint as you moved through the area, and have it maybe a little more linear- almost like a halfway house between the cave exploration and the overworld. I guess a little like formidable oak in that respect- losing the urgency of time passing totally kills the tension for me when exploring caves
Bulbmin will never come back, heres why. we have glow pikmin the better version, Glow pikmin have resistance to all elements, they have glow mob, and if idle they go back in your party.
@@Lucky-le-Olive They will bring Bulbmin back. It’s 100% certain. They even mentioned them in the creature logs. When they will show up, we have no idea. But they will at some point.
I want the koppites to make a return and now that indoor areas exist the joke of the grocery store level could happen
Like, there’s a random Roomba just hovering around that you have to avoid and stuff
And every time you step on the checkout it goes BEEP.

A bonus area for DLC would make sense but What if instead added another side story like Olimars side story maybe one for Louie
Ahh that makes a lot of sense
Me want snow area
@@wumbomandlxwe already melted all the ice in pikmin

they could also add something for christmas like they did with 3, just adding some new dandori levels or maybe a whole new WINTER area.
Very good video ! Personnaly i would like to see a better multiplayer mod were the second player play as otchi

I've got an idea for two new pikmin types but I don't want to share my ideas because I don't want them to get stolen

@@nomad6169 they're associated with bean Pikmin. The glow Pikmin are called photon Pikmin. they have a completely different pigment set.
FRANGRAMS THE GOAT IS BACK! Pikmin 3 actually got DLC around 3 months after its release, in October 2013. All DLC was released before December 2013.
I have this idea, for a flarmin, flarlic pikmin that get stronger every flarlic you collect and in the Louie dlc you can ONLY use them.
Louie's shipwreck tale or Louie's bug cooking
we need an explaination for the onions
AND THE UNUSED GREEN ONION
Wollyhop pikmin anyone?
I just thunk bulbmin are weird
Idk if anyone said this maybe the levels from the first game and the 3rd game. We can see how they look like in pikman 4
I expect challenges like Pikmin 3 if we get DLC. But I’d love some new story stuff.
That one place sode be cald woodlock cabanin or from Pikmin 3s Twilight river
Frangrams, " were out of colors! "
Orange :|
hey pikmin enemies, did you forhet about CRUMBUG
Custom Dandori battles for 2 player
Like choosing the spawning enemies, pikmin types and Items
An expansion with more everything would be great. New enemies would be fantastic.

Pikmin at macdonal

Olimar's shipreckt tale left the chat
More breadbugs and breadbug types
I hope they go the botw route and add a motercycle that works like oatchi
This game came and went it needs dlc bad 😭
All I want is New Game+ since a lot of upgrades are given to yiu very late and aren't very useful by the end
Real co-op.
More upgrades for ochi
Also this is a stretch but.. maker mode
pikmin 3's dlc was the switch version it came on wii before switch
Instead of a new area they should bring back bingo battle from pikmin 3 with online multiplayer.
meaby Bulbmin will be in the dlc
real
I would want harder game modes I felt like the final cave should’ve have been way harder because of the infinite days
