I didn't know this guy was a wrestler. I wrestled and jiu-jitsu now. I would say the brutality and heartbreak of poker coupled with the patience and maneuvering on your opponents is what translates most to poker. That and emotional and adrenaline rush control as well.

So the J-10 made a flush, the 88 made a full house and the 33 made quads (he also got a high hand $2000 - a rollover), and my AA was garbage, Is this normal?

If you put him on K x then you know he will pay off a big bet, considering the front door flush missed and any straight. If you check, he SHOULD value bet but he shouldn't call an all-in check raise. So you should either induce a big bet by betting 1/8th pot or just over bet for $2K. The check raise doesn't make you any more money I don't think. He would only call off his stack with a better hand. All of this is IMO of course. I will watch the results of the rest of the video now.
