Lots of apps will not have the move to USB Storage option. Please do a video on how to move these apps to USB using the x-plore app.
I've done this on a lot of my apps by, in x-plore, copying the installed .apk to the downloads folded, removing the app and then re-installing from within x-plore. Most uninstallable apps can be moved by this process (I say most as Spotify and Amazon Music could not move by this process).
I left my most used apps (Netflix, Plex and Disney) in the internal memory. A fire stick 4K has very little space in internal memory for apps.

While everything you stated is correct, once the USB drive is formatted this way you can no longer put your music and ripped DVD's on it, which is useless for my needs. I use a Fire Cube 3rd Gen so, I have a normally formatted USB dive connected for my music files that I listen to ALL the time through my Bose sound system and also have a TON of my PURCHASED DVD's ripped to Mp4 and is stored on the USB drive. In my experience, the VLC player works GREAT for playing my music files and ripped DVD's with no issues. VLC has a 12band equalizer and other settings that are WAY better than MX player OR MX player Pro. The Fire Cube 3rd Gen has 16Gb of onboard storage, which is PLENTY for apps and I'm at 50% capacity. So, basically what I'm saying is it all depends on each person's needs/wants. Also with my setup through my phone or tablet I can swap out or add music/video files on that USB drive right over my WiFi 6 connection that will transfer at 1.2Gb of data per minute. WiFi 6 is actually FASTER than the network port on the Fire Cube. Also, I can UNmount that USB drive and plug it into my Windows PC to transfer whatever I want and then just plug it right back into the Fire Cube.

You could always get a muti usb OTG and plug two usbs one formatted to the internal system memory and one formatted to fat32 and then put all your music etc on the fat32.

@@cwtek1 I tried that and NOPE! Cube only lets you mount ONE USB storage device. Even using the exact same brand of drive.

Could use cloud storage (Google Drive and Etc)

FU@K the cloud! I have NO use for it, especially if you have "sensitive" data that you do not want others to see. The "cloud" is also USELESS in an internet outage where a connected USB drive you can watch/listen to content off that drive with NO issues, just NOT formatted as this video suggests.

I don’t think that would work for running apps it would be too slow and I am also not sure how you could go about fooling the os into thinking cloud storage is internal storage.

If you buy a 2nd gen 4k max when it’s on special offer for £44.99 then you will get 16gb of storage for a bargain price.
