My friend had one who was friendly to me. She said she didn't have time to play with it enough, so it would get aggressive with some of her guests. If they tried to sleep on her couch and not play with it, the dog would throw toys at them and hit them in the face. It was a quiet nice dog though to me, but I liked to pet dogs and play with them.
Akita is the perfect partner for life, but not for everyone 😉

The Japanese akita shown at 1min 47secs is absolutely awesome..what a beast. Huge head and muscular body. This is the Japanese type my akita is slowly growing into and the type I prefer. They are not all lightweights as some people seem to think. Certain Japanese lines are bred to a more imposing standard. The one shown here is extremely impressive.
Please don't confuse people. You had several shots of Shiba Inus in your video...no wonder why people get confused. My brother has a Shiba Inu and several people have asked him if it is an Akita Inu. They are related but not the same dog breed!
When they love you, can feel their strong emotion & presence, my 3 year old male loves car rides and shows it putting his nose on my shoulder to show affection, I never even felt this type of love from ppl, always respect and recognize the nature of character, remain calm and firm

The dog with a curly hair girl is a shiba. I don't know why they mix up the two because they are much different in size!
And they have different face markings akitas don't have the back markings going up until the nose it only reaches a part of the forehead

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

PS: Allah is the name of God in arabic . the arabic jewish and christians arabs they say Allah too . in the arabic bible it is written Allah. For Arab Jews, too, in their book they say Allah . There are only 18% of Muslims are Arabs but there is 82 % they are Muslims but not Arabs so the majority of Muslims are not Arabs .

Why do people keep showing the Amerikan Akita and Shiba inu when it's about the Akita inu?
Wouldn't say they are loyal like a German Sheppard or rottweiler but more of independent dogs, you don't really train these dogs more of a dog you manage, it's a hit and miss dog depending on how you raise them. That being said it doesn't mean you can't train them, they have a short span
German shepherds and Rottweilers aren't even that loyal imo
@Rafe Papi. Sorry mate but you don't know akitas. They live to protect. They are not clingy dogs and some do not show affection like other dogs but they love their owners and will die for them and unlike shepherds are one of the few breeds that need zero protection training.

A primitive element is more connected to nature, less in contact with other breed, less crossmating.characterized by stubborn character, an akite create a very powerfull link with only one person, his leader. The akita inu and the czech Wolf are 2 of the most primitive breed existent, it is not a negative skill , otherwise is a beautiful connection dog nature.
@@sgabil thank you for the explanation. I've found my Akita puppies to be, for lack of a better word, human, should the canine aspect be set aside.
