- In this episode, we are showing you the first 5 months of the exciting life of our Japanese Akita, Yuki, as a little puppy. The first months of a puppy are crucial for bonding, brain development, and training.
We all know that Yuki has the most loving, playful and gentle personality, so it’s even more exciting to discover how his personality has developed to how we know him today. Now, we’ve got to admit that it hasn’t always been easy raising Yuki, since he used to be, and still is very headstrong, which is characteristic for Akita Inus, however, many of his personality traits also developed randomly. We are positive that many Akita owners will recognize themselves and their Akita Inus in this video, since most Akita puppies have a cute and clumsy nature. We hope that we can give you guys a helpful insight into the life of a Japanese Akita puppy, and for those who are contemplating getting a Japanese Akita: Have fun with our video!

I’m getting my Akita hopefully by the end of 2020, this year has been enough with all the pandemic and stuff but I have everything ready to welcome a pup into my home. Hopefully I do get it

He looks like a fox to me more than a bear,the colour and the nose.very cute
Yuki is still young.When they reach adulthood their face change eventually.The one that kinda looks like a fox to me is a shiba inu.

Autoimmune disorders, for which there are currently no genetic tests, such as sebaceous adenitis, uveodermatalogic syndrome, pemphigus, discoid lupus, food and environmental allergies, etc., affect this breed. There have been cases of amelogenesis imperfecta which can be screened for.
The national breed club requires testing of hips and eyes and strongly recommends screenings for patella, thyroid, and amelogenesis imperfecta/enamel hypoplasia issues.

That dog is way too responsive to scritches. Our goober just lets us scratch him however we want and will barely look at us while we do, only to slap his bear paw on our arm if he wants us to keep going.

Mein 4 Jahre alter Akita war kerngesund und im März wie aus dem Nichts litt er an einer Blut-Krankheit aufgrund Blut-Mangel und leider konnten die Ärzte nicht helfen. Am 3.3. ist er gestorben mit 4 und am selben Tag hat meine hochschwangere Frau uns unser neues Neugeborenes geboren. Traurig oder glücklich? Was sollte ich sein?

@@muguezz8698 wir sind auch Anfänger, aber ich denke dass es kein soo großes Problem ist. Man kann halt keinen Hund erwarten, der aufs Wort hört und genau das macht, was man sagt. Wenn du noch sturer bist, als der Akita, dann wird es klappen :)
